The Pender Boys lost 71-45 at Humphrey St. Francis in the D2-4 Sub-District Final Thursday night.
The Pendragons end the season at 3-20.
A season with a lot of potential for Pender that didn't go the way they wanted.
The Pendragons picked up a nice win over Wynot in January though, and the Blue Devils are at State.
I think that win shows what Pender can be and that the potential is there.
The Pendragons held a lead heading into the 4th quarter of many games this year, they just were unable to hang on.
That can easily change for Pender next year.
The Pendragons just simply have to find a way to finish games.
If Pender can do that I think close games could go their way next year.
The Pendragons have to really get after it this offseason and improve and grow and comeback even stronger next season.
There has to be a lot of positivity and high energy and enthusiasm when the team works out and plays over the summer.
Pender has to get after it and comeback a whole new team next season.
