BRLD outscored the Blujays 25-14 in the 3rd quarter to go up 71-33 at the end of three.

The Jaguars won the 4th quarter 23-20.

Darwin Snyder led the way with 22 points while Beutler had 16 points and 9 rebounds. Gatzemeyer chipped in 11 points while Johnson notched 10 points and 8 rebounds.

BRLD has been as good as advertised so far this year.

The Wolverines (5-0) battle Homer (2-4) in the first round of the Holiday Tournament on Saturday.

The Knights lost 63-31 at Lutheran High Northeast last Friday night.

The Wolverines beat Homer 65-28 on the road on December 7th.

BRLD should roll and dominate in this one.

I don't see the Wolverines getting challenged in this one.

I think BRLD will win pretty big and easily, and going away.

I think this Holiday Tournament is the Wolverines' to lose.

BRLD should walk away with the Holiday Tournament Championship.

This team is so deep and talented, and I'm not sure if anyone or anything can stop them this year.

The Wolverines have to play their game, and do what they've done all season.

BRLD has to get out and run, and dominate from start to finish.

The Wolverines have to treat Homer with respect as well.

BRLD can't come into this game thinking they already have it won before the game starts because that's when you get into trouble.

The Wolverines have to be focused and ready to go and play on Saturday.

I fully expect BRLD to play for Monday's Championship.

Whether that's against Howells-Dodge or GACC, I don't know, but I do think the Wolverines will win it regardless of who is on the other side.

BRLD is simply unstoppable and one could argue unbeatable as well.

The Wolverines are a great team and perhaps a dynasty in the making, and this team is simply incredible and amazing.

There's a long ways to go and a lot of ball to be played yet this year though so BRLD has to keep their eye on the prize and focus on one game at a time.

Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. in Homer.

The BRLD Girls routed Walthill 84-18 on the road on Thursday, December 12th before winning 37-29 at home over Clarkson/Leigh on Friday, December 13th. The Wolverines then won 60-28 at home over Howells-Dodge last Friday night in action aired on 107.9 the Bull, and won 75-18 at home over Boys Town on Saturday.

The Patriots led the Wolverines 11-10 after one. BRLD doubled up Clarkson/Leigh 8-4 in the 2nd quarter to take an 18-15 lead into the locker room.

The Wolverines outscored Clarkson/Leigh 10-3 in the 3rd quarter to go up 28-18 at the end of three.

The Patriots won the 4th quarter 11-9.

BRLD outscored Howells-Dodge 26-7 in the 1st quarter. The Wolverines won the 2nd quarter 10-7 to take a 36-14 lead into the locker room.

The Wolverines outscored the Jaguars 16-11 in the 3rd quarter to go up 52-25 at the end of three.

BRLD won the 4th quarter 8-3.

Kailynn Lovejoy had 10 points while Isabel Freemont and Alyssa Buchholz had 9 apiece.

The Wolverines are having a great season so far.

BRLD (7-0) battles Homer (2-4) in the first round of the Homer Holiday Tournament on Saturday.

The Knights lost 53-52 at Lutheran High Northeast last Friday night.

BRLD beat Homer 61-40 on the road on December 7th.

I look for the Wolverines to knock off the Knights again and make it to the championship game.

BRLD/GACC would be a heck of a matchup in the championship game if it were to happen.

The matchup can definitely happen too, but the Wolverines have to take care of business against Homer first, and the Bluejays have to beat Howells-Dodge.

I really think BRLD has made a commitment on the defensive end of the floor, and it is really showing.

The Wolverines can now play defense to go with their amazing offense.

Defense wins championships, and BRLD is a championship caliber team.

It would be huge for the Wolverines to win this Holiday Tournament, and they can definitely do it too.

BRLD will likely have to knock off the mighty Bluejays to get the job done, but it can definitely happen.

The Wolverines have to pressure and suffocate Homer with their press, and create turnovers and get out in transition.

BRLD has to make life difficult on the Knights, and make them uncomfortable offensively.

I think the Wolverines are getting better with every game, and BRLD has been consistently good all season long.

The Wolverines have beaten the good teams on their schedule, and blown out the teams they're supposed to beat.

That's a sign of a championship ball club.

The journey to a Homer Holiday Tournament Championship begins on Saturday with game time scheduled for 4:00 p.m. in Homer.
