Very impressive run for Oakland-Craig.
The Knights (6-2) take on Wilber-Clatonia (6-0) in the first round of the Malcolm Holiday Tournament on Friday.
The Wolverines beat Sandy Creek 42-29 at home on Saturday.
Wilber-Clatonia is undefeated, but I feel their record is deceiving.
Yes the Wolverines are unbeaten, but only one of their wins is against a team over .500.
I just think Oakland-Craig has played a tougher schedule and is more athletic and dynamic and explosive than Wilber-Clatonia.
It figures to be a good game, but I think the Knights have a good shot to win it.
Malcolm and Centennial are on the other side of the bracket, and both of those teams are very good as well.
I think Oakland-Craig stands a good chance to win this Holiday Tournament though.
If the Knights can push the scoring up into the 70's and 80's and even 90's like they have been then I don't see how they lose.
But if Oakland-Craig cools off offensively in this tournament then things could get interesting.
So I think the Knights' offense is the key in this tournament.
Hopefully Oakland-Craig put some work in during the five-day moratorium because that ends on Friday.
It's game day for the Knights on Friday, and I fully expect Oakland-Craig to go down there and play well.
It should be a good, fun, competitive tournament, and I think the Knights have a good chance to come home with some hardware.
Oakland-Craig is playing some great basketball right now, and is one of the hottest teams in the area if not the state.
I wouldn't want to play the Knights right now if I were any of these teams in this Holiday Tournament.
Oakland-Craig is getting multiple kids in double figures on a nightly basis, and that makes a huge difference.
Friday's game is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.

The Knights simply continue to roll along.
Oakland-Craig (8-0) faces Wilber-Clatonia (3-3) in the first round of the Malcolm Holiday Tournament on Friday.
The Wolverines won 46-29 at home over Sandy Creek on Saturday.
All three of Wilber-Clatonia's losses are blowout losses to top teams.
The Knights are another top team the Wolverines are facing, and I look for Oakland-Craig to win big in this one.
The Knights will face either Centennial or the host Clippers on Day Two on Saturday.
Both of those teams are good so Oakland-Craig has their work cut out in their second game for sure.
I think the Knights have what it takes to win this tournament again.
Oakland-Craig won it last year, and I think the Knights have a legit shot to win it again this year.
Oakland-Craig has been like a wrecking crew in that they can't be stopped.
The Knights are a great team, and appear to be even better this year than they were last year.
Not much appears to be slowing down Oakland-Craig right now.
It has been an excellent year for Oakland-Craig Athletics, and I look for the success to continue this weekend.
The Knights need to continue to get the same type of effort offensively and on the boards like they have so far this year.
Oakland-Craig simply has to keep doing what they've been doing, and they will be just fine.
The Knights have to keep the eye on the prize, and have that same will, drive, determination, toughness, focus, and attention to detail that they've had all season.
Oakland-Craig is very talented, and they work extremely hard, which is why they are a great team and program.
I see the Knights being undefeated heading into the BRLD game on January 17th.
Friday's game is set to begin at 3:00 p.m.
