The North Bend Central Boys are off to a 3-0 start, downing Twin River 62-42 on the road in Thursday night's season opener, and then winning 64-35 at home over Seward on Saturday, and 66-45 at home over Schuyler Tuesday night.
The Tigers led the Bluejays 12-10 after one, and outscored them 23-5 in the 2nd quarter to take a 35-15 lead into the locker room.
North Bend Central won the 3rd quarter 12-8 to go up 47-23 at the end of three.
The Tigers won the 4th quarter 17-12.
North Bend Central led the Warriors 23-5 at the end of one, and won the 2nd quarter 16-12 to take a 39-17 lead into the locker room.
The Tigers won the 3rd quarter 17-14 to go up 56-31 at the end of three.
Schuyler won the 4th quarter 17-13.
Excellent start to the season for North Bend Central.
The Tigers (3-0) take on West Point-Beemer (1-2) on the road Thursday night in action that can be heard on 107.9 the Bull.
The Cadets won 44-43 at home over Stanton Tuesday night.
West Point-Beemer is a solid team, but they are young.
I look for veteran laden North Bend Central to turn in another very strong performance, and win going away.
The Cadets have had scoring issues while the Tigers have been clicking on all cylinders offensively.
I look for this game to go similar to the way the first three went for North Bend Central.
There's no reason why the Tigers shouldn't be undefeated heading into the Christmas Holiday Break.
North Bend Central has proven to be a very good team once again this year and a team and force to be reckoned with.
I think the Tigers are going to be very difficult for anyone to beat this year, especially given this strong start.
Beating Seward the way they did really impressed me.
The Bluejays are a solid Class B program, and to dominate them the way they did really says a lot about North Bend Central and their program.
Both the boys and girls teams really have things clicking right now, and things couldn't be going any better for either team.
Both teams have to keep it up and must keep fighting and battling.
The Tiger Boys need to start strong Thursday night, and take the Cadets out of the game early.
North Bend Central has to come out and flex their muscles early on and build a big lead and continue to add on to it.
The Tigers have to take care of business and do what they have all season long.
If North Bend Central does that then they should be fine and in good shape come the end of the ball game.
Tip-off is slated for 7:45 p.m. on the Bull.
The North Bend Central Girls won 62-18 at Twin River in Thursday night's season opener before downing Seward 78-37 at home on Saturday, and Schuyler 69-7 at home Tuesday night.
The Tigers led the Titans 26-1 after one and 47-3 at halftime.
North Bend Central won the 3rd quarter 8-7 to go up 55-10 at the end of three.
Twin River won the 4th quarter 8-7.
The Tigers led the Bluejays 15-14 after one, and won the 2nd quarter 21-9 to take a 36-23 lead into the locker room.
North Bend Central poured it on in the 3rd quarter, outscoring Seward 27-6 to go up 63-29 at the end of three.
The Tigers won the 4th quarter 15-8.
North Bend Central led the Warriors 27-0 at the end of one, and 48-1 at halftime.
The Tigers outscored Schuyler 16-5 in the 3rd quarter to extend their lead to 64-6 at the end of three.
North Bend Central won the 4th quarter 5-1.
Great start to the season for the Tigers.
North Bend Central (3-0) travels to West Point-Beemer (2-1) to take on the Cadets Thursday night in action that can be heard on 107.9 the Bull.
The Cadets knocked off Stanton 49-30 at home Tuesday night.
West Point-Beemer is a solid team and figures to provide a tough, stingy test for the Tigers.
I feel like this will be one of North Bend Central's toughest games of the season so far.
If the Tigers continue to play lights out then I see them rolling to a big win.
But if it's a close game and the Cadets hang in there then things could get interesting.
I'm anxious to see how North Bend Central fares in a close game as all their games have been blowouts so far this season.
The Tigers have put on a great display of basketball so far this year though.
North Bend Central is even better than I thought they would be, and the way they have flat out dominated their first three opponents has been very impressive.
Of course there's still a long ways to go, but if the Tigers continue to tear things up at this rate, then watch out.
You have to think North Bend Central is a legit State Title contender based on what they've done so far.
A lot of basketball is yet to be played, but I fully expect the Tigers to be right there in the end.
North Bend Central has done great things and dominated so far this season.
The Tigers have simply picked up right where they left off at the end of the season, and enhanced things even more.
North Bend Central is kicking butt and taking names, and it has been very impressive to see so far.
The Tigers have to keep it up and keep working hard, and continue to assert themselves as one of the most dominant teams in the area.
North Bend Central is having a great season and can't let up now.
Opening tip is scheduled for 6:15 p.m. on the Bull.
