Emerson-Hubbard (1-4) faces Madison (2-4) at the Madison Holiday Tournament on Friday.

The Dragons lost 91-58 at home to Oakland-Craig on Saturday.

This figures to be an interesting game for the Pirates.

Hopefully Emerson-Hubbard has been in the gym shooting and working on their game during this five-day moratorium.

Scoring and shooting and putting up points is big for these kids.

Belt and Hall are getting the job done, but they need help.

There is a lot of room for improvement from the Pirates.

Emerson-Hubbard wasn't expecting these kind of struggles I don't think.

The Pirates can definitely be better than they have been so far, but they have to put in the work.

The last thing you want to see is these kids sitting around for five days and doing nothing.

Emerson-Hubbard has to come out and play great basketball on Friday.

The Pirates have to try and find themselves and resurrect their season in this tournament.

This Holiday Tournament is wide open as far as I'm concerned, and if Emerson-Hubbard plays up to their potential they could win it.

The Pirates have to come out aggressive offensively.

Emerson-Hubbard has to run the floor and get out and run, run, run.

The Pirates have to do everything in their power to try and get things turned around.

I must say I'm very surprised by Emerson-Hubbard's struggles, especially given how they played last year.

There's a lot of season left for the Pirates though, and Emerson-Hubbard has time to get things turned around.

The Pirates can't give up on this season, not by a long stretch.

Friday's game is scheduled to start at 4:15 p.m. in Madison.

Great come from behind win against Walthill.

Emerson-Hubbard (1-4) takes on Madison (3-3) at the Madison Holiday Tournament on Friday.

The Dragons lost 66-21 at home to Oakland-Craig on Saturday.

This should be a good game.

Madison has won a couple close games over schools in D-1 or D-2.

I think the Pirates can definitely keep things close if not win this game.

Mackling needs to have a big game as does Bousquet and Parker-Diaz.

Emerson-Hubbard has to get all three of them going at once.

If the Pirates can great contributions from all three of them they figure to be in great shape.

Emerson-Hubbard has to put the time in this week though.

The Pirates can't just sit around and do nothing.

Emerson-Hubbard should enjoy time with family and stuff, but find time to get workouts in when possible.

Even if it's just shooting and doing a little running that would sufficient in my mind.

The Pirates don't have to do a ton of stuff and overwork themselves, but just enough to stay in game shape is important, in my opinion.

Emerson-Hubbard could really benefit from some shooting, in my opinion.

The Pirates also need to tighten things up on defense.

There's a lot of room for improvement for Emerson-Hubbard, and the Pirates have a lot of work to do to get things turned around.

Emerson-Hubbard did beat Walthill though, and showed themselves the potential to win games is there.

The Pirates have to keep reverting back to that game, and try and win games as much as possible.

Emerson-Hubbard has to come out and play well and inspired in this tournament.

Tip-off is slated for 2:30 p.m. in Madison.
