The Oakland-Craig Boys Basketball is 1-2 so far this year having lost 47-38 at home to Logan View/Scribner-Snyder in last Thursday's season opener, and 76-70 at home to Boys Town on Saturday before winning 82-54 at Clarkson/Leigh Tuesday night in action aired on 107.9 the Bull.

The Raiders outscored the Knights 19-11 to lead 30-22 at halftime after the game was tied at 11 at the end of the 1st quarter.

LVSS won the 3rd quarter 12-5 to build a 42-27 lead at the end of three before the Knights won the 4th quarter 11-5 to make up the final score.

The Knights got out to a 22-17 lead at the end of one on the Patriots before winning the 2nd quarter 23-14 to take a 45-31 lead into the locker room.

The Patriots won the 4th quarter 16-13.

Thomsen finished with 22 points while Seagren posted 16 points and 8 rebounds. Ray added 13 points while Amon Bryan registered 7 rebounds.

Head Coach Aaron Meyer. "Yeah it's nice to turn some defense into offense there for a little bit. And hitting some outside shots is always a big deal cause then you can spread the court out a little bit. You can isolate a little bit more inside. But all in all it was a lot of fun team basketball."

The Knights (1-2) host Pender (1-2) Friday night in action that will be aired on 107.9 the Bull.

The Pendragons lost 36-31 at home to Lutheran High Northeast Thursday night.

It's Friday the 13th and weird things can happen on that day, but Oakland-Craig hopes the game isn't something out of the ordinary for them.

The Knights would just assume win big and not having any issues with Pender whatsoever.

You know you're going to get a great effort from Pender though.

The Pendragons are trying to turn around their program and start winning.

Oakland-Craig's offense is incredible though.

The Knights have really put the ball in the bucket the last two games.

I think it just took a game for Oakland-Craig to find themselves offensively following a long football season.

It seems like the Knights have fed off their success in football and kept things rolling during basketball season.

Single digit losses to Logan View/Scribner-Snyder and Boys Town are not bad losses.

Oakland-Craig isn't one to revel in moral victories, but I think the Knights had to feel encouraged by the Boys Town game at the very least.

Oakland-Craig has to come out and play well Friday night, and then get ready for a tough three-game stretch.

The Knights need to pick up a big win over the Pendragons, and give Howells-Dodge, Winnebago, and Wisner-Pilger their best shot this weekend and next week.

This is the type of game where Oakland-Craig needs to win by a lot to give themselves added confidence and momentum heading into the their next three games.

I feel the Knights are a team hungry for success, and will do whatever it takes to get over that hump and be a great team.

A win over Pender Friday night would certainly be another step in the right direction.

Tip-off is set for 7:45 p.m. on the Bull.

The Oakland-Craig Girls Basketball Team has picked up right where they left off last year, winning 64-24 at home over Logan View/Scribner-Snyder in last Thursday night's season opener before downing Boys Town 64-14 at home on Saturday, and winning 55-31 at Clarkson/Leigh Tuesday night in action aired on 107.9 the Bull.

The Knights quadrupled up the Raiders 20-5 in the 1st quarter, and doubled them up 16-8 in the 2nd quarter to take a 36-13 lead into the locker room.

Oakland-Craig outscored LVSS 15-2 in the 3rd quarter to go up 51-15 at the end of three.

The Knights won the 4th quarter 13-9.

Freshman Chaney Nelson had 13 points while Kennedy Benne poured in 12. Sydney Guzinski added 11 while Jeannina Blahak totaled 10 points and 11 rebounds, good enough for a double-double. Sadie Nelson added 8 points.

Oakland-Craig led the Cowboys 23-1 at the end of the 1st quarter and 46-5 at halftime.

The Knights outscored Boys Town 9-2 in the 3rd quarter to extend their lead to 55-7 at the end of three.

Oakland-Craig won the 4th quarter 9-7.

Benne had 24 points and 7 rebounds while Guzinski notched 8 points. Sadie Nelson added 7.

The Knights doubled up the Patriots 18-9 in the 1st quarter, and tripled up Clarkson/Leigh 12-4 in the 2nd quarter to lead 30-13 at halftime.

Oakland-Craig tripled up the Patriots 21-7 in the 3rd quarter to extend their lead to 51-20 at the end of three.

Clarkson/Leigh outscored the Knights 11-4 in the 4th quarter.

Guzinski led the way with 14 points while Sadie Nelson totaled 12. Blahak added 11 points and 9 rebounds while Chaney Nelson notched 8 points. Mya Guzinski chipped in 10 rebounds.

This team is loaded with scorers. The three freshmen have been as good as advertised!!!!

Oakland-Craig (3-0) plays host to Pender (3-0) Friday night in action that can be heard on 107.9 the Bull.

The Pendragons won 51-44 at home over Lutheran High Northeast Thursday night.

Pender is a good, solid team.

I feel like the Knights are great and elite though.

This figures to be a heck of a ball game, but it's going to be awfully difficult to beat Oakland-Craig on their home floor.

The Knights have to defend their home floor like they did the first week of the season.

Oakland-Craig has to play hard and smart from the start, and go out there and light things up offensively.

The Knights have so many offensive weapons, and their defense is really good too.

I feel like Oakland-Craig is the complete team and real deal, and one of the best teams in the area and conference.

I think this Oakland-Craig team has a chance to go far this year and do some special things.

The Knights have to keep things all in perspective though and keep focused on the prize.

Oakland-Craig has a lot of basketball left to play this year and can't get too ahead of themselves.

The Knights have to focus on beating a good Pender team, and improving to 4-0 on the season.

Oakland-Craig has to like where they are at right now, and if they can get past the Pendragons and Winnebago they should have a good chance to be undefeated heading into the Christmas Holiday Break.

I fully expect Pender to throw everything in their arsenal at the Knights and try and do everything in their power to win though.

Oakland-Craig has to be ready for anything the Pendragons try and throw at them, and adjust and adapt as the game goes on.

It should be a fun one, and I hope you're all excited to listen to it as much as I am.

Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on the Bull.
