The GACC Boys lost 71-56 to O'Neill in the Mid-State Conference Tournament at Norfolk Catholic Friday night before losing 74-65 in OT at Norfolk Catholic Tuesday night.

The Eagles went up 15-13 after one, and outscored the Bluejays 14-9 in the 2nd quarter to take a 29-22 lead into the locker room.

O'Neill doubled up GACC 26-13 in the 3rd quarter to extend their lead to 55-35 at the end of three.

The Bluejays won the 4th quarter 21-16.

The Knights led 16-10 after one before GACC doubled up Norfolk Catholic 22-11 in the 2nd quarter to take a 32-27 lead into the locker room.

The Bluejays won the 3rd quarter 16-15 to extend their lead to 48-42 at the end of three.

The Knights outscored GACC 18-12 in the 4th quarter to tie the game at 60 and send it into OT.

The Bluejays outlasted Norfolk Catholic 14-5 in the extra session.

GACC (4-16) hosts Pierce (16-3) Thursday night.

Pierce won 53-21 at home over Clarkson/Leigh Tuesday night.

Very difficult game and battle on GACC's hands in this one.

GACC's remaining regular season games aren't easy, but I'm sure a program like GACC doesn't want them to be easy.

GACC has to come out and play a good game on Thursday.

Pierce is a very good team, having just beaten GACC 55-35 on their home floor last Tuesday in the Mid State Conference Tournament Quarterfinals.

GACC has to bring it and must have a great attitude coming into this one Thursday night.

It could certainly make a difference for GACC one way or another.

The GACC Girls won 35-26 over Hartington Cedar Catholic in the Mid-State Conference Tournament Semifinals at Battle Creek last Thursday night before falling 60-48 in Saturday's Championship game to Crofton, also at Battle Creek. The Bluejays then outlasted Pender 69-67 in overtime at home Tuesday night.

GACC led the Trojans 7-6 at the end of one, and won the 2nd quarter 11-9 to take an 18-15 lead into the locker room.

The Bluejays blanked Cedar Catholic 7-0 in the 3rd quarter to go up 25-15 at the end of three.

The Trojans won the 4th quarter 11-10.

Brenna Rief had 17 points while Taylor Timmerman notched 7. Sophia Hass added 12 rebounds.

The Warriors got out to a 17-14 lead at the end of one. GACC won the 2nd quarter 14-12 to make it a 29-28 game at halftime.

Crofton outscored the Bluejays 15-8 in the 3rd quarter to increase their advantage to 44-36 at the end of three.

The Warriors won the 4th quarter 16-12.

Hass led the way with 10 points while Rief and Timmerman notched 9 and 8, respectively.

The Pendragons jumped out to an 18-14 lead at the end of one. GACC won the 2nd quarter 21-16 to take a 35-34 lead into the locker room.

Pender won the 3rd quarter 16-12 to pull back in front 50-47 at the end of three.

The Bluejays won the 4th quarter 12-9 to tie the game at 59 and send it into OT.

GACC outlasted the Pendragons 10-8 in the extra session.

Hass had a double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds while Rief totaled 16 points. Isabel Hass recorded 11 while Timmerman posted 9 points and 8 rebounds.

Really good game on Tuesday following the loss to Crofton.

GACC (19-3) wraps up the regular season Thursday night at home against Pierce (12-9).

Pierce fell 35-31 at home to Clarkson/Leigh Tuesday night.

This figures to be a good game, but GACC should be able to prevail.

A win for GACC would be really good for power points purposes without a doubt.

It would help with seeding down the line and things of that sort for GACC.

GACC can get to 20 wins with a win in this game, and that would be a tremendous accomplishment for them.

GACC should win their Sub-District pretty easily and then would look to get redemption at Sub-State should they get that far.

GACC has a lot to play for yet, and wrapping up the regular season with a win at home over Pierce would be a good way to cap off the regular season and head into the postseason.

GACC will be hosting Sub-Districts it appears so this isn't the last game these Seniors will ever play on their home floor.
