In High School Basketball Action aired on 107.9 the Bull Thursday night, North Bend Central defeated West Point-Beemer 46-38 in the Girls C1-5 Sub-District Final from North Bend.
The Tigers got out to a 13-11 lead at the end of one, and outscored the Cadets 11-5 in the 2nd quarter to take a 24-16 lead into the locker room.
NBC won the 3rd quarter 8-6 to go up 32-22 at the end of three.
West Point-Beemer won the 4th quarter 16-14.
Sidney Swanson had 32 points in the losing effort for the Cadets.
North Bend Central improves to 20-3 on the season while West Point-Beemer falls to 19-5.
The two teams will rematch in Sub-State at North Bend on Friday at 6:00 p.m. That game will be broadcast on the Bull.
Oh man should be a great game come Friday night.
The Cadets must find a way to get Swanson's supporting cast going in this one.
West Point-Beemer needs contributions from the likes of Swanson plus Jadyn Meiergerd, Reece Snodgrass, Brooklyn Weddle, and Rachel Groth.
