The Tekamah-Herman Boys lost 86-59 to Clarkson/Leigh in Leigh in the first round of the East Husker Conference Tournament on Saturday before beating Pender 70-55 in a Consolation Game at Wisner-Pilger Tuesday night.
The Patriots doubled up the Tigers 16-8 in the 1st quarter, and outscored Tekamah-Herman 24-14 in the 2nd quarter to take a 40-22 lead into the locker room.
The Tigers won the 3rd quarter 22-21 to make it a 61-44 game at the end of three.
Clarkson/Leigh outscored Tekamah-Herman 25-15 in the 4th quarter.
Brock Rogers led the way with 19 points while Kaleb Quick had 15. Jed Hoover and Eldridge Jensen notched 8 apiece.
The Tigers led the Pendragons 15-6 at the end of one, and won the 2nd quarter 20-14 to take a 35-20 lead into the locker room.
Tekamah-Herman won the 3rd quarter 17-11 to extend their lead to 52-31 at the end of three.
Pender outscored the Tigers 24-18 in the 4th quarter.
Rogers had 25 points and 10 rebounds, good enough for a double-double. Hoover added 20 points and 7 rebounds while Quick notched 14 points.

Tekamah-Herman (5-12) hosts North Bend Central (12-3) Tuesday night in action that can be heard on 107.9 the Bull.
NBC beat West Point-Beemer 62-44 in the EHC Quarterfinals at home Tuesday night.
NBC is a very good team and will have completed a couple more games by the time Tuesday rolls around.
Tekamah-Herman has some extra time to prepare and has to take advantage.

Tekamah-Herman is definitely capable of giving North Bend Central a good game, they just have to fight and want it more than NBC does.
