Tri County Northeast Boys 1-2 in last three games

The Tri County Northeast Boys fell 53-51 to Ponca in the 3rd place game of the Bottom 8 Bracket of the Lewis and Clark Conference Tournament at Homer on Saturday before winning 52-37 at home over Randolph Tuesday night. The Wolfpack also lost 75-47 at Siouxland Christian, IA Friday night.

The Indians led 17-14 after one, and outscored the Wolfpack 21-13 in the 2nd quarter to take a 38-27 lead into the locker room.

Tri County Northeast won the 3rd quarter 12-8 to make it a 46-39 game at the end of three.

The Wolfpack won the 4th quarter 12-7.

Kobe Kumm had 22 points while Steven Sullivan totaled 13 points and 8 rebounds.

Against the Cardinals, Nate Oswald had a team-high 11 points while Kumm, Sullivan, and Mason Hall notched 9 apiece.

Tri County Northeast (10-9) hosts Omaha Nation (3-13) on Saturday.

The Chiefs fell 64-48 at Winnebago Thursday night.

This being a home game for the Wolfpack leads me to believe they have a better chance of winning than if the game was in Macy.

Still though with that said Tri County Northeast will be coming off a lopsided road loss in Iowa Friday night so they have to find a way to bounce back on Saturday.

Omaha Nation will play hard and give the Wolfpack their best shot so Tri County Northeast has to be ready.

It's the Chiefs and Stanton to close out the regular season, two games the Wolfpack can and should win heading into Sub-Districts.
