I thought the Patriots improved from last week to this week.

Clarkson/Leigh (2-2) plays host to BRLD (2-0) Friday night.

The Wolverines won 89-42 at Omaha Nation Thursday night.

The two-time defending C-2 State Champs appear to be the real deal once again.

The Patriots have to expect to compete and give BRLD their best shot though.

Clarkson/Leigh has to do everything in their power to keep this one close.

The Patriots have to build on the positive things they have done this week and continue to improve on that.

Clarkson/Leigh has to limit turnovers and limit BRLD's transition opportunities.

The Patriots have to control tempo, work the ball around the perimeter for good shots, and get to the free throw line.

Clarkson/Leigh has to be ready to shoot the ball and has to expect the ball to go in when it's released.

The Patriots have to play with confidence no matter how much the odds may be stacked against them in this one.

The Clarkson/Leigh Girls won 51-42 at Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family in Friday night's season opener before downing Madison 56-17 at home on Saturday. Hoffman had 16 points while Settje totaled 14. Hanel was also in double figures with 10 while Schumacher totaled 8.

Really strong start to the season for Clarkson/Leigh.

The Patriots (4-0) host BRLD (2-0) Friday night.

The Wolverines won 65-22 at Omaha Nation Thursday night.

BRLD is very good and strong once again this year.

This is no doubt going to be Clarkson/Leigh's toughest test of the season thus far.

The game being in Clarkson helps the Patriots, but it will still be tough.

The Wolverines have a lot of offensive firepower.

Clarkson/Leigh is extremely tough defensively though.

I think this game comes down to the Patriots' offense.

Clarkson/Leigh did enough offensively to beat Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family and played great defense against Oakland-Craig.

I think it's going to take the same kind of effort on both ends of the floor that the Patriots got on one side of the court in each of those games.

Clarkson/Leigh has to play defense the way they did against the Knights and score the way they did against the Bulldogs.

The Patriots have their work cut out for them, but there's no doubt that they can win.
