The Winnebago Boys won 55-40 at Homer last Thursday night in the season opener before winning 64-61 at home over Walthill Friday night. Winnebago then won 55-47 at Pender Tuesday night.
Winnebago held a 27-15 lead at halftime.
The Knights won the 3rd quarter 15-12 to make it a 39-30 game at the end of three.
Winnebago won the 4th quarter 16-10.
Dyami Berridge had 17 points while Caleb Kearnes notched 16. Anthony Earth added 8 while Asaias Bernie totaled 8 points and 7 rebounds.
The Blujays led 24-14 at the end of one. Winnebago won the 2nd quarter 17-16 to make it a 40-31 game at halftime.
Winnebago tripled up the Blujays 18-6 in the 3rd quarter to pull in front 49-46 at the end of three.
Both teams scored 15 4th quarter points.
Winnebago led Pender 11-7 in the 1st quarter, and outscored the Pendragons 17-9 in the 2nd quarter to take a 28-16 lead into the locker room.
Pender won the 3rd quarter 15-14 to increase their advantage to 43-30 at the end of three.
The Pendragons won the 4th quarter 16-13.
Promising start to the season for Winnebago.
Winnebago (3-0) plays host to Adams Central (2-1) on Saturday.
The Patriots won 72-45 at home over Wood River Tuesday night.
Should be a good game and a heck of a challenge for Winnebago.
This is no doubt Winnebago's biggest test of the season.
Winnebago has done well to this point in the season, but this is really their first real test.
Winnebago was challenged by Walthill and beat the Blujays so we'll see if Winnebago can pass their second test against Adams Central.
I think Winnebago definitely can as they have an up and coming promising team this year.
It's a good start to the season for Winnebago.
Nothing to get too over confident about or anything, but still something to be confident about at the moment.
A win over the Patriots would really big so we'll see if Winnebago can take another step forward and win on Saturday.

Winnebago outscored Homer 19-7 in the 3rd quarter to go up 52-27 at the end of three.
The Knights outscored Bago 14-5 in the 4th quarter.
Keisha Snyder had a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds while Maddy Cleveland posted 14 points and 8 rebounds. Sylvia Valentino added 9 points and 11 rebounds while Sinya Harlan had 7 points and 10 rebounds. Natasha Deal chipped in 7 points.
Cleveland led the way with 20 points against the Blujays while Snyder totaled 17 points and 8 rebounds. Valentino had 7 points while Kelsi Decora recorded 7 rebounds.
The Pendragons tripled up Winnebago 21-7 in the 1st quarter, and outscored them 20-8 in the 2nd quarter to take a 41-15 lead into the locker room.
Winnebago won the 3rd quarter 13-11 to make it a 52-28 game at the end of three.
Winnebago outscored Pender 13-7 in the 4th quarter.
Snyder had a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds while Cleveland had 11 points and 12 rebounds. Harlan added 10 rebounds.
Good job by Winnebago of not giving up against Pender.

The Patriots won 55-54 at home over Wood River in Overtime Tuesday night.
Adams Central is a good solid team, but I think Winnebago can beat them.
This game is a huge opportunity for Winnebago to knock off a good team.
I feel like Adams Central hasn't seen a team like Winnebago yet this year.
It's a long road trip for the Patriots.
I feel like Winnebago has what it takes to win this one, but Adams Central is still a good, solid team.
It's going to take a great effort on Winnebago's part if they are to come out on top.
Winnebago can definitely do it and get the job done too.
Winnebago has to play a complete four quarter game and must really get after it on both ends of the floor.
