Strong start to the season for the Cadets. West Point-Beemer could easily be 3-0.
The Cadets (1-2) take on North Bend Central (2-0) on the road Thursday night in action that can be heard on 107.9 the Bull.
The Tigers won 69-55 at Seward on Saturday.
NBC looks to be as strong as they were last year, or at least close to it.
West Point-Beemer has their work cut out for them, but the Cadets are a much improved team.
The Tigers lost some key pieces from last year so it will be interesting to see what happens in this one.
I feel West Point-Beemer can hang in there and compete and keep this one close.
The Cadets have to try and slow the pace of the game down, and play a halfcourt game.
West Point-Beemer has to almost try and slow things down to a crawl if you may.
If the Cadets can do what they did on Saturday against the Crimson Pride then they should give themselves a shot in the end.
The West Point-Beemer Girls are off to a strong start this year as the Cadets won 57-39 at Arlington Thursday night to open up the season before winning 62-48 at home over Omaha Roncalli on Saturday in action aired on 107.9 the Bull. The Cadets then won 66-24 at Stanton Tuesday night.

Good, solid start to the year for the Cadets.
West Point-Beemer (3-0) travels to North Bend to take on North Bend Central (2-0) Thursday night in action that can be heard on 107.9 the Bull.
The Tigers won 59-28 at Seward on Saturday.
The defending C-1 State Champs look mighty strong once again this year.
NBC is tall and long.
The Tigers beat the Cadets twice last year, once at State and once in the regular season.
I feel like these two teams could see each other up to 4 times this year.
West Point-Beemer was rated preseason No. 1 by the Lincoln Journal Star and 4th in the Omaha World-Herald.
North Bend Central was ranked 2nd in the Journal Star and No. 1 in the World-Herald.
Either way it's going to be a great game Thursday night I feel.
I think a fast start is the key to the game for the Cadets.
If West Point-Beemer can get off to a strong start and put the pressure on the Tigers and force them to play from behind then they could be in good shape.
But if NBC starts strong and the Cadets fall behind big early like they did last year at State then things could go North Bend Central's way once again.
It will be interesting to see what happens that's for sure.
Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on the Bull.
