Tough go of things so far this year for Pender.

The Pendragons (0-5) host Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family (4-0) Tuesday night in action that can be heard on 107.9 the Bull.

The Bulldogs won 60-38 at Shelby-Rising City on Saturday.

Pender definitely has their work cut out for them in this one.

It has been a slow start to the season for the Pendragons, but they are the only ones who can change their fortunes this year.

Pender has to be ready to get back to work in practice on Monday or whenever they next practice.

There's a long season to go, and the Pendragons have to keep battling and fighting.

It would be so easy to get down on ones self given what has transpired for Pender through the first 5 games.

The Pendragons have to find a way to remain positive and hopeful though, and must believe that things will get better.

Pender has done some nice things this year and played well at times they just need to find a way to become consistent.

The Pendragons also play at Stanton on Saturday and so even if Pender doesn't beat the Bulldogs perhaps they will pick up their first win of the year over the Mustangs.

The Pender Girls are off to a sizzling 5-0 start as the Pendragons held off Wakefield 54-53 at home in last Thursday night's season opener before winning 68-26 at Tekamah-Herman last Friday night. Pender then beat Winnebago 59-41 at home Tuesday night before winning 48-43 at Lutheran High Northeast Thursday night. The Pendragons then won 51-44 at Oakland-Craig Friday night.

Amazing start to the season for Pender.

The Pendragons (5-0) host Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family (3-1) Tuesday night in action that can be heard on 107.9 the Bull.

The Bulldogs doubled up Shelby-Rising City 56-28 on the road Saturday.

H/LHF is a heck of a team once again this year.

Pender is going to have to be on their game if they hope to come out on top and away with another win.

I think the fact that the Pendragons are at home bodes well for them.

Pender can just play their game and not have large road crowd distractions or anything like that.

The Pendragons have already had some thrilling wins this year, and perhaps that will be the case once again Tuesday night.

Pender has something special brewing so far this year, and has to keep at it and must keep finding ways to win.

The Pendragons went on a 24-3 run to end the LHNE game, coming back from down 40-24. Now that is saying something!!!!!!

Tip-off on Tuesday is set for 6:00 p.m. on the Bull.
