Good win for Tri County Northeast over Cedar Bluffs.
The Wolfpack (1-2) takes on Hartington-Newcastle (1-3) on the road Tuesday night.
The Wildcats lost 57-27 at Pierce on Saturday.
Hartington-Newcastle isn't too bad a team. They beat Osmond and kept things relatively close against Humphrey St. Francis.
The Wildcats have played a tough schedule and won't be easy to beat that's for sure.
Tri County Northeast can definitely beat Hartington-Newcastle and get the job done though.
With that said, it is going to take a great effort on the Wolfpack's part.
Tri County Northeast has to figure out their scoring woes in this one.
Not putting the ball in the basket hurt the Wolfpack against the Bees and Bears.
Granted Laurel-Concord-Coleridge won State last year and the Bloomfield game was close.
But my point is Tri County Northeast has to step things up and be better offensively than they were against those two if they want to win.
The Tri County Northeast Girls won their first ever game as a program Monday night, beating Cedar Bluffs 56-14 on the road before falling 47-35 at Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Friday night.
The Wolfpack blanked the Wildcats 21-0 in the 2nd quarter, and doubled up Cedar Bluffs 16-8 in the 2nd quarter to take a 37-8 lead into the locker room.

Good, solid, strong start to the season for Tri County Northeast.
The Wolfpack (1-1) takes on Hartington-Newscastle (1-3) on the road Tuesday night.
The Wildcats lost 50-21 at Pierce on Saturday.
Hartington-Newcastle also lost 73-23 at home to Humphrey St. Francis Tuesday night.
I think Tri County Northeast has a good shot in this one based on how the Wildcats have fared in their losses. Hartington-Newcastle also lost 56-35 at home to Ponca in last Thursday night's season opener.
I look for the Wolfpack to come out and play a good game Tuesday night.
I think the game will be very competitive, and feel things will be close and tight in the end.
Tri County Northeast could win by 10-12 or win a game by single digits.
I could also see the Wolfpack losing by single digits, but don't see the Wildcats winning by double figures.
All that matters in the end is that you win and it won't matter how Tri County Northeast gets the job done Tuesday night, just as long as they win.
