The Winnebago Boys look for their newcomers to lead them to big things this season.

Winnebago won't be extremely tall, but they figure to be quick and athletic.

Head Coach Jeff Berridge says his team is ready for the season. "Very exciting, expect to be young but very talented."

Winnebago went just 8-13 a year ago, but figures to be improved this year.

Winnebago, like all other teams across the state, will have to play in front of 25% capacity gym crowd sizes and just immediate household members.

Season Outlook:

Playing in front of smaller crowds figures to be an adjustment for Winnebago.

Winnebago typically feeds off a large crowd I would imagine, or at least has in the past.

I feel like this season will have more of a pickup ball type feel to it, and will feel like Summer League Games.

That should allow Winnebago to just go out there and play ball, and not have any distractions.

That's of course if the Coronavirus Pandemic doesn't alter, change, or affect Winnebago's schedule in some form or fashion.

A chunk of Winnebago's Volleyball Season got cancelled, but hopefully the same thing doesn't happen in Basketball.

Winnebago is in Sub-District C1-7 with West Point-Beemer, Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, and Wayne.
