The West Point-Beemer Boys are off to an 0-3 start as the Cadets fell 58-54 at home to Arlington in their opener on Thursday, 66-34 on the road at Omaha Roncalli on Saturday, and 49-43 at home to Stanton on Tuesday.

The Cadets notched 8 fourth quarter points while the Mustangs scored 3.
Chase Streeter had 13 points and 10 rebounds, good enough for a double-double. Austin Streeter added 13 points and 9 rebounds while Jahnke registered 7 points.
West Point-Beemer has come close to winning two of their three games, but the Cadets for whatever reason just can't put together a complete game to get the job done.
West Point-Beemer (0-3) squares off with North Bend Central (1-1) at home Thursday night.
The Tigers lost 59-46 at Twin River in their opener on Friday before beating David City 70-27 at home on Saturday.
I look for this to be a fairly evenly matched game with both teams a tad bit inconsistent to begin the season.
The Cadets are really helped by the fact they are at home. That should allow West Point-Beemer to play well.
The Cadets are so close to being 2-1. In fact, they are 10 points away from that mark.
It all comes down to playing a complete game and playing well for four quarters if you are West Point-Beemer.
The Cadets can't expect to play a good half and a bad half of basketball, that's just not a winning recipe.
Chase Streeter, Austin Streeter, Toelle, and Jahnke have played well for West Point-Beemer so far this season, now it's a matter of getting everyone else going.
The Cadets have to improve their team scoring if they want to win some games this year. Limiting turnovers, converting on shots and free throws, and executing are all part of a winning formula for this West Point-Beemer team.
I'm interested to see how the Cadets fare against North Bend Central. I feel it is a very winnable game for West Point-Beemer.
The West Point-Beemer Girls are off to a 2-1 start as the Cadets won 69-24 at home against Arlington on Tuesday, and 45-34 at Omaha Roncalli on Saturday before losing 41-39 at home to Stanton on Tuesday.

Stanton outscored West Point-Beemer 10-7 in the fourth quarter.
Hansen had 20 points while Makenna Weddle registered 7. Anderson added 12 rebounds.
The Cadets are playing good basketball right now for the most part, but West Point-Beemer has to learn to finish people off. The Cadets have to find that killer instinct that all great teams posess.
West Point-Beemer (2-1) hosts North Bend Central 3-0) on Thursday.
The Tigers defeated Schuyler 44-26 last time out.
North Bend Central is a good team, but they haven't seen anyone quite as talented as Hansen or the Cadets so far this season.
The Tigers' toughest game was Twin River, and North Bend Central won a close contest in that one.
I think you are going to see a determined, angry, and hungry West Point-Beemer team on Thursday.
I think the Cadets will be out to prove that they are better than losing to Stanton, and will show up and play a great game on Thursday.
Back-to-back losses would be difficult for West Point-Beemer to handle, especially given the fact there was so much hype around this team coming into the season.
It's only one loss, but the Cadets can't let the loss to the Mustangs turn into multiple losses.
West Point-Beemer has to use the Stanton loss as motivation to get better, and take out their frustrations on North Bend Central on Thursday.
The Cadets should be able to find a way to win on Thursday. I would be awfully surprised if West Point-Beemer dropped back-to-back games.
We will find out what the Cadets are made of on Thursday.
