The BRLD Girls knocked off Ponca 63-53 at home on Saturday before pasting Wakefield 77-31 on the road Tuesday night.
The Wolverines led the Indians 14-10 after one, and won the 2nd quarter 16-12 to take a 30-22 lead into the locker room.
BRLD won the 3rd quarter 18-15 to increase their advantage to 48-37 at the end of three.
Ponca won the 4th quarter 16-15.
Caragan Tietz had 24 points and 8 rebounds while Jordan Snyder and Alyssa Buchholz registered 13 points apiece.
The Wolverines led 19-10 on the Trojans at the end of one, and outscored Wakefield 19-8 in the 2nd quarter to take a 38-18 lead into the locker room.
BRLD outscored the Trojans 25-10 in the 3rd quarter to extend their lead to 63-28 at the end of three.
The Wolverines outscored Wakefield 14-3 in the 4th quarter.
Snyder led the way with a double-double of 22 points and 11 rebounds. Buchholz notched 12 points while Isabel Freemont tallied 11. Megan Beutler chipped in 10 while Tietz recorded 7.
Two great and dominant wins for BRLD.
The Wolverines (10-4) host Stanton (5-11) on Saturday.
The Mustangs won 47-23 at home over Madison Tuesday night.
Stanton has played good basketball over their last four games and has shown signs of life and improvement.
BRLD has been on another planet these last two games though.
I think the Wolverines have a chance to win this one big.
The Mustangs could definitely make things closer than you might think though.
BRLD should win, but Stanton is a tough team so the Wolverines have to be ready.
It's too bad the Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family and Oakland-Craig games got cancelled, but there's nothing BRLD can do about those games now.
The Wolverines have to simply get ready for Saturday, and must take care of business.
