Tri County Northeast Boys and Girls 1-2 in last three games

The Tri County Northeast Boys went 1-1 at the Summerland Holiday Tournament last week, winning 71-19 over CWC last Monday before falling 91-52 to Walthill in last Wednesday's Championship Game. The Wolfpack then won 59-29 at Cornerstone Christian Tuesday night.

Tri County Northeast jumped out to a 25-8 lead on the Renegades at the end of one.

The Wolfpack doubled up CWC 14-7 in the 2nd quarter to take a 39-15 lead into the locker room.

Tri County Northeast outscored the Renegades 21-3 in the 3rd quarter to extend their lead to 60-18 at the end of three.

The Wolfpack outscored CWC 11-1 in the 4th quarter.

Mason Hall led the way with 15 points while Steven Sullivan and Reed Hingst each had 8. Brock Mackling added 7 while Garrett Blanke posted 8 rebounds.

The Blujays went up 18-14 after one, and outscored Tri County Northeast 21-12 in the 2nd quarter to take a 39-26 lead into the locker room.

Walthill outscored the Wolfpack 20-11 in the 3rd quarter to go up 59-37 at the end of three.

The Blujays outscored Tri County Northeast 32-15 in the 4th quarter.

Sullivan had a team leading 12 points while Kobe Kumm notched 10. Josh Olesen and Hingst each added 8.

Things are looking pretty good overall right now for the Wolfpack I would say.

Tri County Northeast (6-3) hosts Winnebago (4-6) Tuesday night.

Winnebago fell 69-47 at O'Neill this past Tuesday night.

The Wolfpack gets Winnebago at home, and this is a huge opportunity for Tri County Northeast.

The Wolfpack have a chance to knock off a great team and power in Winnebago.

Winnebago did beat Walthill 64-61, but that was early in the season.

Still though Tri County Northeast has their work cut out for them.

But a win over Winnebago would be mighty sweet there's no doubt about that.

The Tri County Northeast Girls lost 63-30 to CWC in last Monday's Summerland Holiday Tournament Opener in Clearwater before downing Walthill 62-22 in last Wednesday's Consolation Game. The Wolfpack then won 59-20 at Cornerstone Christian Tuesday night.

The Renegades led 17-7 after one, and outscored Tri County Northeast 17-8 in the 2nd quarter to take a 34-15 lead into the locker room.

CWC outscored the Wolfpack 18-6 in the 3rd quarter to increase their advantage to 52-21 at the end of three.

The Renegades won the 4th quarter 11-9.

Jordyn Carr finished with 21 points and 7 rebounds while Rhyanne Mackling notched 7 rebounds.

Tri County Northeast raced out to a 24-6 lead on the Blujays at the end of one.

The Wolfpack outscored Walthill 18-4 in the 2nd quarter to take a 42-10 lead into the locker room.

Tri County Northeast outscored the Blujays 14-5 in the 3rd quarter to go up 56-15 at the end of three.

Walthill won the 4th quarter 7-6.

Carr had 23 points while Brynn Schock totaled 9 points and 10 rebounds. Mackling chipped in 8 points while Codi Olson posted 10 rebounds.

The Wolfpack went up 18-7 on the Cougars after one. Tri County Northeast then won the 2nd quarter 13-5 to take a 31-12 lead into the locker room.

The Wolfpack outscored Cornerstone Christian 19-4 in the 3rd quarter to go up 50-16 at the end of three.

Tri County Northeast won the 4th quarter 9-4.

Carr paced the Wolfpack with 20 points while Mackling registered 16 points and 7 rebounds. Schock added 8 points and 14 rebounds while Alli Jackson came in with 12 boards.

Tri County Northeast (4-4) plays host to Hartington Cedar Catholic (5-5) on Saturday.

The Trojans won 53-32 at home over Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Thursday night.

Pretty tough game ahead of the Wolfpack.

All of Tri County Northeast's wins have come against teams who are really struggling.

The Wolfpack has struggled against the elite teams and done respectable against a couple others.

So I think the thing Tri County Northeast has to try and do is step things up against quality competition.

The Wolfpack have to come out and play a good, tough game against Cedar Catholic, and take it to the Trojans for 4 quarters.

Tri County Northeast has to be sound on both ends of the floor and has to step things up on both ends of the court as well.

The Wolfpack has to pick up their game so to speak.
