The Winnebago Boys fell 56-53 at Laurel-Concord-Coleridge last Friday night before winning 63-40 at Tri County Northeast Tuesday night.
The Bears led 6-5 after one before Bago doubled up Laurel-Concord-Coleridge 18-9 to take a 23-15 lead into the locker room.
The Bears outscored Bago 19-10 in the 3rd quarter to regain the lead at 34-33 at the end of three.
Laurel-Concord-Coleridge won the 4th quarter 22-20.
Bago led Tri County Northeast 18-4 after one, and outscored the Wolfpack 14-8 in the 2nd quarter to take a 32-12 lead into the locker room.
Winnebago won the 3rd quarter 17-16 to go up 49-28 at the end of three.
Bago won the 4th quarter 14-12.
I thought Winnebago really played good basketball in both games and really stepped and picked things up.
Winnebago (5-7) takes on Ponca (7-6) on the road Tuesday night.
Ponca lost 57-51 at BRLD on Saturday.
Ponca is a solid team, and it won't be easy for Winnebago to go into their house and beat them.
With that said, Bago can definitely go in there and do it.
Winnebago has played well their last couple of games and gotten back on track a little bit.
I'm anxious to see what Bago does on Tuesday.
I think this game is going to be a nail biter and come down to the wire.
It should be a heck of a game there's no doubt about that.
A win would be huge for Winnebago.
Let's hope they can find a way to win.
