The Stanton Girls have played some good basketball as of late as the Mustangs won 37-24 at home over Plainview last Thursday night before downing Madison 47-23 at home Tuesday night.
Two nice wins for Stanton.
The Mustangs (5-11) take on BRLD (10-4) on the road Saturday.
The Wolverines pasted Wakefield 77-31 on the road Tuesday night.
Stanton has been playing their best basketball of the season over their last four games, in my opinion.
And I think it bodes well for the Mustangs heading into this one.
BRLD has stepped things up in a big way their last two games though, and is going to be very difficult to beat.
I think Stanton can compete with and challenge the Wolverines at the very least, however.
The Mustangs should have some confidence coming into this one.
Stanton just can't be intimidated by BRLD.
The Mustangs have to go into Lyons expecting the outcome to come out in their favor.
In other words, Stanton has to expect and play to win as opposed to playing not to lose.
