Pender (3-9) travels to Homer to take on the Knights (2-8) Tuesday night.
Homer lost 60-50 at home to Randolph Tuesday night.
It should be a heck of a battle between the Knights and Pendragons.
Pender has to learn how to close out games.
The Pendragons fell at the end against Wynot, and really let that game get away.
Pender can't let the same thing happen against Homer.
The Pendragons have to come out and play with a lot of fire, toughness, grit, tenacity, pride, and passion.
Pender has to play as hard as they can and maximize their potential.
The Pendragons are a young team trying to learn how to win and find their way.
I feel like Pender has done well at times this year, but has been inconsistent at others.
I think the Pendragons can be better and will be in time.
Pender has to keep working hard and battling.
The Pendragons have done some nice things this season, just not as many as they would like I'm sure.
Pender has to keep fighting and must continue to get better and improve.
The Pendragons have to be relentless with their attack, and must take the fight to Homer on Tuesday.
Homer did beat Wynot by 21 earlier in the season, and has lost to some really good teams so Pender certainly has their work cut out for them.
The Pendragons have to go in there expecting and believing they can win though.
Pender has to play to win as opposed to not to lose.
The Pendragons have to keep building their program and continue to head in the direction they want that makes them a winner.
Pender has a lot of potential they're just raw yet in my opinion.

Pender won the 4th quarter 13-11.
Ashley Ostrand notched 11 points while Lillie Timm had 8.
Great effort from and great wins for the Pendragons.
Pender (6-6) travels to Homer to take on the Knights (5-5) Tuesday night.
Homer defeated Randolph 72-27 at home Tuesday night.
The Knights lost to Wynot by 14 earlier in the season.
The Pendragons should be able to win this one.
Pender has had the entire week to get ready and prepare for Homer so they should be ready to go.
The Pendragons have three road games next week so Pender has to be ready to go.
Getting that first win for the week would set the tone for the rest of the week I would say.
I think the Pendragons have a great chance to at least win 2 out of 3 games next week.
Pender has been very good at times this season, and has struggled at others.
The Pendragons have been very up and down you could say.
I think it's important for Pender to develop some consistency in their play.
Inconsistency has reared its ugly head on the Pendragons, and affected Pender in a negative way at times this year.
The Pendragons have played great at times this year though, and when Pender is on they are on, and it is pretty.
The Pendragons have to try and win their first two games of the week next week to gain a lot of momentum for next Saturday's clash at Clarkson/Leigh.
Pender has to try and get over the hump and go on a winning streak before season's end.
So far inconsistent play has resulted in a .500 record, but there is time for that to change.
The Pendragons have to keep battling and fighting and try and find consistency in their play.
I think the biggest things for Pender are scoring and defense.
When the Pendragons' offense and defense are both on Pender is successful, but when both are off the Pendragons struggle.
And it also seems like Pender will play well offensively at times and struggle on defense at times, and vice versa.
