North Bend Central led Tekamah-Herman 19-5 at the end of one, and doubled them up 18-9 in the 2nd quarter to take a 37-14 lead into the locker room.

Two more difficult games for Tekamah-Herman.

Tekamah-Herman (0-16) has a rematch with North Bend Central (16-3) on the road Tuesday night.

North Bend Central blasted Oakland-Craig 80-45 in the 3rd place game of the East Husker Conference Tournament at Central Community College in Columbus on Saturday.

This game figures to be another really tough one for Tekamah-Herman.

Tekamah-Herman has to go into this game believing that good things can happen.

Tekamah-Herman has to work on improving on both ends of the floor, and has to try and win in the process.

I think it's important for Tekamah-Herman to remain positive and keep honing their skills in this one.

It has been a real trying time for Tekamah-Herman this season, but they have to keep improving and pressing forward.

This is Tekamah-Herman's only game of the week so they should be able to fully focus and lock in on North Bend Central.

Tekamah-Herman has to defend the 3 well, and try and limit North Bend Central's transition opportunities.

Tekamah-Herman has to execute the fundamentals of the game well, and find a way to be effective and efficient on offense.

I think Tekamah-Herman can keep things closer this time around than they did against North Bend Central the first time, but it won't be easy.

The way North Bend Central beat Tekamah-Herman last time was no fluke, in my opinion, and Tekamah-Herman has to be ready to play better this time around.

This game appears to be very one sided on paper, but then again games are not played on paper.

Tekamah-Herman has to play to win, and has to give it their all for 4 quarters.

Tekamah-Herman has to do their very best to try and pick up a win, but again it won't be easy, and will be very hard to have happen.

The Tekamah-Herman Girls Basketball Team also went 0-2 in the East Husker Conference Tournament, falling 68-23 at BRLD in the first round Friday night, and 37-34 to Madison in the Bronze Bracket at Oakland-Craig Thursday night.

BRLD outscored the Tigers 13-6 in the 3rd quarter to lead 55-19 at the end of three.

The Wolverines outscored Tekamah-Herman 13-4 in the 4th quarter.

The Dragons led the Tigers 16-10 after one. Tekamah-Herman won the 2nd quarter 7-3 to make it a 19-17 game at halftime in favor of Madison.

The Dragons outscored the Tigers 10-6 in the 3rd quarter to extend their lead to 29-23 at the end of three.

Tekamah-Herman won the 4th quarter 11-8.

Marin Jetensky had 19 points and 10 rebounds for the Tigers.

Two disappointing losses for Tekamah-Herman I would say.

Tekamah-Herman (6-15) rounds out the regular season at North Bend Central (15-4) Tuesday night.

North Bend Central lost 36-35 to BRLD in the East Husker Conference Tournament Championship Game at Central Community College in Columbus on Saturday.

North Bend Central is a tough team, and you can bet they will be riled up and upset given what happened on Saturday.

Offense could definitely come at a premium in this game, and I feel Tekamah-Herman has a chance to keep things respectable.

Tekamah-Herman has to use this game as a springboard into sub-districts.

This is Tekamah-Herman's last chance to get back on track before the postseason so they have to make the most of it.

Jetensky has to have a big game for Tekamah-Herman, and Jess Fleischman, Gabby Mercier, and Anna Wakhouse have to step up and score as well if at all possible.

Tekamah-Herman has to be upset minded.

Tekamah-Herman has to play good post defense, and try and make North Bend Central hit from the outside.

North Bend Central is a big post oriented team, and makes their living on the inside.

Fleischman and others have to get physical with Brooke Fredrickson, Lauren Emanuel, and Kristin Lux, and knock them off the block and things of that sort.

The more Tekamah-Herman can make North Bend Central play away from the basket the better off they will be.

Tekamah-Herman has to go out there and play smart and aggressive, and must also have fun in the process.

Tekamah-Herman has to keep a level head and can't let their emotions get the best of them.

Tekamah-Herman has to bust their tails, and give it everything they've got for 32 minutes.
