Decent play from Wisner-Pilger lately I would say.
The Gators (14-6) take on BRLD (18-2) on the road Tuesday night in action that can be heard on 107.9 the Bull.
The Wolverines lost 38-36 to Logan View/Scribner-Snyder in the Conference Tournament Championship Game at Central Community College in Columbus on Saturday.
The Gators are going to have to play an exceptional game to beat BRLD.
The Wolverines are very good, and it doesn't figure to be easy for Wisner-Pilger to go into Bancroft and win.
I fully expect the Gators to show up and play well though.
The win over West Point-Beemer was huge, and I look for Wisner-Pilger to build off it.
This is a big game for the Gators, and Wisner-Pilger has to show up and play their best game of the season.
The Gators have to try and slow down the drive to and attack the basket game of BRLD.
Wisner-Pilger's defense is going to need to step up and play well for the Gators to have a chance in this one, in my opinion.
Wisner-Pilger also has to be sharp offensively, and must score the ball the way they are capable of.
The Gators, being a more veteran team, shouldn't back down from the Wolverines whatsoever.
Wisner-Pilger has more seniors that play, and has to use that to their advantage.
The Gators have to use them being more veteran laden and experienced to their advantage as well.
Wisner-Pilger has to play hard, smart, physical, and aggressive.
The Gators have to be confident, loose, and must expect to win.
Wisner-Pilger has to play their tails off for 32 minutes and leave it all out on the floor.
The Gators have to do their very best to win, and must play with the heart of a champion.
The Wisner-Pilger Girls Basketball Team is 1-2 in their last three games, falling 50-38 at home to North Bend Central last Thursday night, and 63-49 at Howells-Dodge in the 1st round of the East Husker Conference Tournament last Friday night, before winning 43-36 at Oakland-Craig in the Bronze Bracket of the Tournament Thursday night.

The Gators outscored the Knights 13-4 in the 3rd quarter to go up 27-24 at the end of three.
Wisner-Pilger won the 4th quarter 16-12.
Good game from the Gators Thursday night. An improvement from last Thursday night and last Friday night I would say.
Wisner-Pilger (7-13) takes on BRLD (17-4) on the road Tuesday night in a game that can be heard on 107.9 the Bull.
The Wolverines won 36-35 over North Bend Central in the East Husker Conference Tournament Championship Game at Central Community College in Columbus on Saturday.
Very exciting times for BRLD for sure as the Wolverines are playing very good basketball right now.
With that said, I think the Gators can keep this one respectable.
I keep saying I think Wisner-Pilger is a better team than their record, and is capable of doing big things.
I feel the Gators can compete and hold their own in this game, and play well.
I don't think a win is a given or a sure thing for BRLD by any stretch of the imagination.
I look for Jordan Wegner and others to have big games for Wisner-Pilger.
I think offense will be absolutely critical in this one for the Gators though.
The Wolverines can score a lot of points so it's important for Wisner-Pilger to keep up with them scoring wise.
Defense is also going to be important for the Gators, in my opinion.
I think Wisner-Pilger is going to need to hold BRLD to under 50 points to have a chance to win.
The Gators are definitely capable of winning this one they just have to put their minds to it and get the job done.
Wisner-Pilger has to outhustle, outwork, outplay, and flat out want it more than the Wolverines.
The Gators have to give it their all for 32 minutes, and let the scoring, defense, rebounding, etc take care of itself.
Tip-off between Wisner-Pilger and BRLD is set for 6:00 p.m. on the Bull.
