The Logan View/Scribner-Snyder Boys are 2-1 in their last three games, defeating Oakland-Craig 49-40 at North Bend Central in the East Husker Conference Tournament Semifinals Friday night, and falling 53-47 to North Bend Central in the championship game in Columbus on Saturday, before topping Clarkson/Leigh 51-38 on the road Tuesday night.
In the Logan
View/Scribner-Snyder/Oakland-Craig Game, the Knights led 14-12 after one. The
Raiders bounced back in the second quarter, outscoring Oakland-Craig 21-11 to
take a 33-25 lead into the locker room.
The Knights won the
third quarter 5-4 to make it a 37-30 game at the end of three, but LV/SS
notched 12 points in the fourth quarter compared to 10 for Oakland-Craig to seal
the deal.
Ben Moxness had a
game-high 25 points and 11 rebounds for the Raiders, good enough for a double-double, while Jacob Polk added 10 points.
In the North Bend Central game, both teams scored 8
points in the first quarter. The Tigers used a 21-point second quarter to take
a 29-19 lead into the locker room after holding the Raiders to 11.
LV/SS won the third
quarter 14-11 to make it a 40-33 game at the end of three.
The Raiders put up 14
points in the fourth quarter compared to 13 for North Bend Central.

LV/SS put the Clarkson/Leigh game away early by getting out to the lead they did.
The Raiders (15-5) take on BRLD (13-9) on the road Friday night.
The Wolverines lost 53-48 at Wisner-Pilger Tuesday night.
BRLD is struggling some right now as the Wolverines have dropped two in a row and four out of their last seven.
That's good news for LV/SS, who did a nice job getting back on track with the Clarkson/Leigh win.
If there's one thing the Raiders could of done a little bit better job of though it's finishing.
As good as the Patriots have been playing lately, LV/SS could have been more dominant than they were.
The good news for the Raiders is they have two challenging games against the Wolverines and Yutan to close out the regular season games to finish and be dominant.
LV/SS has time to figure things out before a potential showdown with Winnebago.
The Raiders had better be ready to go four quarters against the Indians and others in the postseason though.
I thought LV/SS did a masterful job starting well against Clarkson/Leigh and smacking the Patriots in the mouth, it's just the finishing of the game that I feel could have better.
The Raiders are a good team, but to be a great team, LV/SS has to win those types of games by 30 or more.

The Raiders did a good job beating the Dragons, their efforts just didn't carry over into Tuesday.
LV/SS (5-14) squares off with Boys Town (4-16) on the road Thursday night.
The Cowboys knocked off Parkview Christian 46-20 at home Tuesday night.
This is a game the Raiders should be able to win fairly easily.
Boys Town has lost to DC West and Schuyler this year.
This would be a big and encouraging win for LV/SS heading into the BRLD Game Friday night.
The Raiders are likely going to be in the bunny bracket game regardless of what happens Thursday and Friday, but LV/SS should continue to build and move forward even though they're not going to avoid the bunny bracket game in sub-districts.
BRLD is really struggling right now, and I think the Raiders have a shot to make that game close and interesting.
LV/SS is really coming along this year, and I feel the Raiders are primed and ready to give the Wolverines a run for their money.
LV/SS has had a nice season in a lot of ways, and to cap off the regular season with a win over BRLD would just be very fitting.
The Raiders have scored the ball better this year, in my opinion.
It seems like more players are up their in the scoring column offensively.
So with that said, LV/SS just has to keep working hard and getting better, and do their best to win both of their remaining regular season games.
I don't expect either contest to be easy, but I do look for the Raiders to knock off the Cowboys, and potentially defeat the Wolverines.
The Sub-District is nearly wide open as far as I'm concerned, and I think LV/SS can make some noise in the postseason if they can do well in these last couple of games.
The Raiders have done well so far this year, in my opinion, they just need something to bring it all together.
And wins over Boys Town and BRLD would do just that.
