Logan View/Scribner-Snyder Boys win at BRLD

The Logan View/Scribner-Snyder Boys won 37-32 at BRLD Friday night despite falling behind early.

The Wolverines led 13-6 after one and outscored the Raiders 9-4 in the second quarter to take a 22-10 lead into the locker room.

LV/SS doubled up BRLD 12-6 in the third quarter to make it a 28-22 game at the end of three.

The Raiders put up 15 points in the fourth quarter and limited the Wolverines to 4.

Jacob Polk led all scorers with 24 points.

This was a good comeback win for LV/SS. The Raiders dug themselves a first half hole, but had enough in the end to get the job done.

LV/SS (16-5) hosts Yutan (15-6) Friday night in the regular season finale.

The Chieftains are coming off a 67-43 win over Johnson County Central at home Friday night.

Yutan is a really good team, and every one of their losses except one have come to teams with records well above .500.

This is exactly the type of test the Raiders need heading into Sub-Districts, in my opinion.

A win over the Chieftains would be up there with the wins over Oakland-Craig, Wayne, and North Bend Central, in my opinion.

The game is going to get Logan View/Scribner-Snyder ready for their matchup with Arlington next Tuesday I would say.

Things are only tough from here on out so the Raiders know what they need to do.

LV/SS can't get off to the same kind of start they got off to against BRLD.

Not that the Raiders can't come back from a deficit like that again, but it's just not something LV/SS wants to make a habit of I would say as it could come back to cost them somewhere down the line.

The Raiders need to get off to a strong start and take control early.

LV/SS has to keep the foot on the throttle and continue to press forward. The Raiders have to forget about negative plays or calls that don't go in their favor, and move on.

LV/SS has to play their hearts out for 32 minutes, and find a way to come away with a big win.

Hopefully Moxness is effective this time out because it appears he was limited against the Wolverines.

Polk stepped up and scored more than usual, but the Raiders need Moxness to be on top of things from here on out.

LV/SS has a very tough road to Lincoln so the Raiders have to max out their abilities and potential from here on out, if they haven't already.
