Tekamah-Herman Boys 0-2 in last two games

The Tekamah-Herman Boys lost 75-41 at home to North Bend Central Friday night before losing 72-17 at Yutan Tuesday night.

The Chieftains outscored the Tigers 23-4 in the first quarter before outscoring Tekamah-Herman 23-5 in the second quarter to take a 46-9 lead into the locker room.

Yutan won the third quarter 18-2 to go up 64-11 at the end of three.

The Chieftains notched 8 points in the fourth quarter compared to 6 for the Tigers.

These were two really difficult games for Tekamah-Herman.

The Tigers (0-17) host DC West (15-6) Friday night in the regular season finale.

The Falcons knocked off Louisville 59-49 at home on Saturday.

This figures to be another difficult game for Tekamah-Herman. I don't see the Tigers having an easy time with DC West whatsoever.

With that said, this is the final home game of the season for Tekamah-Herman, and I think the Tigers are capable of playing inspired.

This is the last time these seniors will ever play on their home floor so everyone on the team has to do what they can to send the seniors out with a win in their final home game.

The task may seem very tall, but anything can happen, especially this time of year.

Tekamah-Herman has to play much better this time out than they did against Yutan if they hope to compete and win though.

The Tigers have to show some pride and spirit if they hope to hang and compete with the Falcons.

Tekamah-Herman has Fort Calhoun in the C1-6 Sub-District Play-In Game on Monday, and so the Tigers need to do everything they can to play well against DC West to prepare for that game.

Tekamah-Herman may only have two games left in their season, but the Tigers have to keep playing and working hard even if it's not apparent they're going to win a game this season.

It's never over until it's over, and Tekamah-Herman has to keep fighting and playing hard until the final whistle of their season.

The Tigers have to do everything they can to come away with a win on Friday and/or Monday, and if Tekamah-Herman could find a way to pick up their first win of the season it would be a big moral booster at the very least.

Hopefully the Tigers don't get blown out Friday night because a lopsided loss would be difficult to bounce back from on Monday, in my opinion.
