The Emerson-Hubbard Boys Basketball Team lost 53-27 at home to Allen last Thursday night before falling 76-26 to Osmond in the first round of the Lewis and Clark Conference Tournament at Osmond Monday night before beating Wausa 47-42 in a consolation game at Ponca Thursday night.

The Tigers outscored the Pirates 14-5 in the 3rd quarter to increase their lead to 65-20 at the end of three.

Osmond won the 4th quarter 11-6.

The Vikings went up 12-8 after one. Emerson-Hubbard won the 2nd quarter 8-7 to make it a 19-16 game at halftime.

The Pirates won the 3rd quarter 10-9 to make it a 28-26 game at the end of three.

Emerson-Hubbard outscored Wausa 21-14 in the 4th quarter.

Good win over the Vikings after a couple of tough games back-to-back.

The Pirates (4-13) host Randolph (11-7) Tuesday night.

The Cardinals won 63-39 over Bloomfield Thursday night in the Lewis and Clark Conference Tournament at Winside.

Randolph is in Emerson-Hubbard's Sub-District so this is going to be a good test for the Pirates.

Emerson-Hubbard has a few regular season games left, and a few more chances to pick up wins.

Next Friday at Omaha Nation will be really tough as will the Randolph game.

The Pirates wrap up the regular season at Stanton on Friday the 21st.

Emerson-Hubbard has to keep fighting and battling and gutting it out until the very end of the season.

The Pirates have to continue to play hard, and must want to extend their season as much as possible.

You always hear crazy stories about teams with not many wins making a run to state or some sort of big postseason run.

And I think Emerson-Hubbard could be one of those teams.

It's kind of like Hoosiers for the Pirates this year.

It's Emerson-Hubbard's last season as Emerson-Hubbard, and the Pirates have to gear up and go out with a bang.

Emerson-Hubbard can't let an opportunity to make a postseason run go by the way side.

I know the Pirates expected a lot more out of themselves this year, but the season isn't over until it is over.

Emerson-Hubbard can't throw in the towel or think that their season is going to be over after the first game of Sub-Districts.

The Pirates have to fight for their season and their program's fate in its final year.

Emerson-Hubbard has to dig deep and take a lot of pride in their work and play.

The Pirates have to find a way to persevere and overcome all the adversity that has come their way and hit them.

Time is running out on Emerson-Hubbard, and so the Pirates have to make the season last as long as possible.

The Emerson-Hubbard Girls lost 70-30 at Winnebago in the first round of the Lewis and Clark Conference Tournament on Saturday before falling 53-33 to Winside in a Consolation game Tuesday night also at Winnebago.

The Indians got out to a 28-2 lead at the end of one, and won the 2nd quarter 15-12 to take a 43-14 lead into the locker room.

Winnebago outscored the Pirates 18-12 in the 3rd quarter to extend their lead to 61-26 at the end of three.

Winside won the 3rd quarter 18-13 to increase their lead to 41-18 at the end of three.

The Pirates won the 4th quarter 15-12.

Brianna Bousquet had a team-high 10 points while Brynn Schock totaled 8.

Good effort from and good to get different players in the scoring act for Emerson-Hubbard.

The Pirates (1-16) host Randolph (5-13) Tuesday night.

The Cardinals beat Walthill 39-30 in the other Lewis and Clark Conference Tournament Consolation game at Winnebago Tuesday night.

Emerson-Hubbard beat the Blujays by 6 earlier in the year for their only win.

I think the Pirates have a shot in this one.

This is Emerson-Hubbard's last ever home game as Emerson-Hubbard so the Pirates have to make it count.

Emerson-Hubbard has to come out and play with a little something extra Tuesday night.

This can't be and isn't your typical game at Emerson-Hubbard.

The Emerson-Hubbard Pirates are about to be no more, and that has to get the team fired up beyond belief.

The Pirates have to come out and take great and tremendous pride in their play, and leave everything out on the floor.

Emerson-Hubbard has to go hard at it for four quarters Tuesday night, and lay everything out on the line.

The Pirates need all four girls that scored in or near double figures to do that against Randolph.

Emerson-Hubbard needs all four girls to score in or near double figures in this particular game.

They have to double their efforts against the Cardinals so to speak.

There's so much to play for in this one if you are the Pirates, and I'm sure emotions will be running very high.

Emerson-Hubbard Pirate Athletics as just Emerson-Hubbard are about to come to an end as next year the team will be combined with Allen.

That has to weight on the shoulders of these Pirate players and really get them thinking about things.

Emerson-Hubbard has to go out there and play with raw emotion and just simply let everything rip against Randolph.

The Pirates can't hold anything back because there is no tomorrow in terms of home games left for Emerson-Hubbard.
