A couple of tough losses to a couple of really good teams.
Oakland-Craig (14-7) hosts Twin River (14-6) in an EHC Tournament Consolation game Friday night.
The Titans lost 67-42 at Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family in Tuesday night's Quarterfinals.
This should be a heck of a game and a good battle and test for the Knights.
I fully expect Oakland-Craig to come out and play well and let out some of their frustration on Twin River.
This is the Knights' last real test before Sub-Districts so Oakland-Craig has to come out and play a great game.
The Knights have to play with a sense of urgency and purpose Friday night, a pep to their step if you will.
Oakland-Craig has to get after it on the defensive end of the floor, and must get out and run and play well offensively as well.
The Knights are very good when they are on offensively, and I look for that to be the case Friday night.
I think Oakland-Craig will come out and play a good, tough game against the Titans.
Twin River is a solid team, but I feel the Knights being at home is an advantage for Oakland-Craig.
Some solid competition is coming to Oakland Friday night and the Knights have to get excited and motivated.
I'm sure Oakland-Craig would much rather be playing in the Semifinals at Midland against BRLD, but at least the Knights get an extra home game this way if you will.
It will also be the last time these seniors play a game on their home court so they have to make the most of it.
The other game features Wisner-Pilger and Howells-Dodge, and that game will tip-off right at 6:00 p.m.
The game between Oakland-Craig and Twin River will start after that.
The Oakland-Craig Girls won 55-40 at Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family last Tuesday night before dominating Tekamah-Herman 72-36 at home in the East Husker Conference Tournament Quarterfinals Monday night.

The Knights won the 4th quarter 16-12.
Benne had a double-double of 27 points and 10 rebounds while Sydney Guzinski and Sadie Nelson registered 9 points each. Edie Anderson posted 7.
Two very good and dominant wins for Oakland-Craig.
The Knights (19-0) take on West Point-Beemer (17-4) in the EHC Semifinals at Midland Thursday night in action that will be aired on 107.9 the Bull.
The Cadets knocked off BRLD 53-39 in the other Quarterfinal at Oakland-Craig Monday night.
This should be a great game of gigantic proportions Thursday night.
It's Goliath versus Goliath in what should be a great game.
I feel the Knights could very well win, but I could see Oakland-Craig getting upset too.
Are we on the verge of an EHC Championship Game rematch between Oakland-Craig and North Bend Central? We will soon find out.
The Cadets have been lights out lately, and will be extremely difficult to beat.
The Knights have a lot of talent and experience too though.
I think Benne has to come up big in this game for Oakland-Craig.
Sydney Guzinski, Chaney Nelson, and Sadie Nelson all need to score a lot for the Knights as well, but I think things ultimately ride on the shoulders of the Senior.
Oakland-Craig must contend with Sidney Swanson, Reece Snodgrass, Rachel Groth, Brooklyn Weddle, and Jadyn Meiergerd.
Those five are very good and give West Point-Beemer very good balanced scoring.
Both teams' starting five is very good, but I feel the Knights might have the slight advantage inside with depth and rebounding.
It should be a great game, and I'm very curious and interested to see what happens and how things all shake out Thursday night.
The first game of the night on the Bull will be the North Bend Central/Pender game at 6:00 p.m.
The Oakland-Craig/West Point-Beemer contest will follow that one on the Bull.
The winners meet in the Championship on Saturday that will be aired on the Bull while the non winners will play for 3rd place, also on Saturday on the Bull.
