The Knights won 70-61 at home over Twin River in an East Husker Conference Tournament Consolation Game Friday night.

It's the regular season finale for O-C, and the Knights are going be very tough and difficult to beat.

The Cadets just have to step up their game on both ends of the floor.

I think a strong start and finish is imperative in this one for West Point-Beemer.

The Cadets can't afford to get behind early and have periods of struggle.

If West Point-Beemer has to try and play catch up that's when they would get into trouble.

The Cadets have to keep things close and try and stay within striking distance to win the game at the end.

Tekamah-Herman only lost by 15 to Oakland-Craig in one of their matchups so perhaps West Point-Beemer will come out and play tough and inspired Friday night.

It's not the final home game of the season for the Cadets, but it is the second to last one.

West Point-Beemer has to come out and play with a sense of urgency and purpose Friday night.

The Cadets have to be strong with their play and must go up at the basket with authority.

West Point-Beemer also has to take care of the ball and limit the Knights' transition opportunities.

Oakland-Craig is very physical and athletic, and the Cadets have to match their toughness.

The Knights are a very solid ball club, and won't be easy to beat whatsoever.

West Point-Beemer has to show some competitive spirit in this one though.

The Cadets have to come out and compete and be tough competitors Friday night.

West Point-Beemer has to get jacked, anxious, excited, motivated, and fired up for this one.

The Cadets have to be ready to play a great game from the start Friday night, and must give Oakland-Craig their best shot.

The Cadets led the Pendragons 12-5 at the end of one before outscoring Pender 20-6 in the 2nd quarter to take a 32-11 lead into the locker room.

The Cadets continue to play really good basketball.

West Point-Beemer (19-5) plays host to Oakland-Craig (22-0) Friday night in action that can be heard on 107.9 the Bull.

O-C won 45-34 at Fremont Bergan Tuesday night.

This game should be a great one with everything that is on the line and everything.

The Cadets probably need this one more than the Knights from a postseason seeding standpoint should West Point-Beemer make it out of Sub-Districts.

You can bet Oakland-Craig will really want to stay undefeated though.

The Knights are a very talented team with lots of great players.

The Cadets are very good as well and are having a very fine season.

West Point-Beemer has a chance to hand Oakland-Craig their first loss of the season.

No one has beat the Knights this year. North Bend Central came close twice, the Cadets had their first chance last Thursday, so can West Point-Beemer pull through and win this time?

The answer for me is I don't know.

The game could truly go either way.

Based on how the Knights did the second time around against the Tigers makes you think they could do the same thing against the Cadets, but who knows.

One thing is for sure though....it should be a hotly contested and highly entertaining ball game.

I don't know what attendance will be like in terms of the number of fans at the Girls game, but I would suggest getting there early for this one.

It should be a dandy, and we will see if West Point-Beemer can break through and win.

It won't be easy, but it is definitely a possible and attainable goal for the Cadets I feel.

West Point-Beemer has to simply want it more and make more plays than Oakland-Craig if they want to win.

Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on the Bull.
