West Point Beemer fell to Fort Calhoun 52 to 49 at home Tuesday night. Coach Cody Bobolz says the team has to find a way to finish games.
"Well that's a tough one. I really thought we gave ourselves a great opportunity to win that game. Coming down the stretch, and unfortunately, down the last couple of minutes, we just didn't make the plays and they did. Give credit to them, but I felt that was one we let slip away without a doubt."

The Gators defeated Wakefield 81-41 in their final game of the Shootout on the Elkhorn Tournament last week after dropping their first two games.
The Cadets' record isn't the most impressive thing when comparing the two teams, but West Point-Beemer might be playing better basketball right now.
It's a matter of the Cadets learning how to finish people off, and play at a high level at all times.
West Point-Beemer played complete, four quarter games against Laurel-Concord-Coleridge and Louisville, now that has to translate into a win Friday night.
The Cadets have to learn how to finish, and make clutch plays when the game is on the line.
Credit Fort Calhoun for a big win as they made more plays down the stretch, but it's definitely a game West Point-Beemer could have and should have won.
Knowing they lost, the Cadets have to be that much more hungry to pick up a win Friday night.
If I'm West Point-Beemer, I can't wait to get back out on the court.
It will be interesting to see how the Cadets fare Friday night. I could see the game going either way.
West Point-Beemer takes on Bancroft-Rosalie on the road Saturday.

West Point-Beemer defeated Norfolk Catholic last Wednesday in a winner's bracket of the Great Northeast Nebraska Shootout, 55-43.
Head Coach Craig Theis says his team learned a lot about themselves by holding on to a late lead.
"In Stanton I told them five or six minutes left we're up 9 here against Norfolk Catholic I said it's the same situation verse Stanton, we'll see how much we've grown up. Let's close out and they did a really good job cause man Norfolk Catholic they just keep coming at you."

West Point-Beemer (8-1) hosts Wisner-Pilger (7-4) Friday night.
Theis says it will be a tough match up. "That's another senior dominated team, and it's got a little rivalry there so there's going to be some floor burns, and some getting after it. They got Bailey Batenhorst, a nice player, and a couple other players around her who do a good job. And Chuck (Ross) does a really good job with them."
The Gators defeated Bancroft-Rosalie 55-38 Thursday night.
Wisner-Pilger has certainly been a good team this year, and is a team that cannot be taken lightly.
The Cadets need to play well. The Gators are a good team, and are capable of beating West Point-Beemer if the Cadets aren't on top of their game.
West Point-Beemer has to play the way they did in the Wayne Holiday Tournament.
The Cadets played some of their best basketball in that tournament, especially in the championship game, and need to get back to that.
West Point-Beemer had a scare against Fort Calhoun, but the Cadets can't let history repeat itself.
West Point-Beemer has to take care of business and play a complete, four quarter game. The Cadets must be on top of their game if they want to win comfortably.
I think this game has the potential to be close, but I also think West Point-Beemer has a chance to win by double digits if they play up to their potential.
A lot of it depends on which Cadets' team shows up.
It will be interesting to see how the game goes. West Point-Beemer has a chance to be 10-1 after this weekend if they play well.
