Emerson-Hubbard (2-6) takes on Siouxland Community Christian, IA on the road Friday night.

This figures to be a pretty even matchup on paper.

I don't know much about Siouxland Community Christian, but the Pirates just have to continue to do the things they did in their wins in this game Friday night.

The Eagles are classified as D-1 in Nebraska so this should be a pretty even matchup for Emerson-Hubbard.

The Pirates got through an extremely tough stretch of games, and now have a bunch of games coming up that can be wins.

It all starts on continuing to do what they've done in their two wins.

Emerson-Hubbard has to find a way to keep getting over that hump and taking steps and making strides as a program.

A win over Siouxland Community Christian, IA would go a long ways in helping the Pirates' confidence down the line I feel.

These out of state matchups are always interesting because you don't know what to expect from the other team.

I'm sure there's been a lot of research and film study done on the Eagles, and I'm sure Emerson-Hubbard has a good game plan in place by now.

The more film that is watched on these guys the better off the Pirates are going to be.

Emerson-Hubbard has to know their tendencies, and must take away the things their players do well.

Exploiting Siouxland Community Christian's weaknesses could be vital and important for the Pirates also.

Most importantly though Emerson-Hubbard just has to play their game and stay within themselves.

The Pirates can't go out there and do anything crazy just because they're playing a team from Iowa.

Emerson-Hubbard has to do what they've been doing all season and they should be fine.

This game is a big chance and an excellent opportunity for the Pirates to pick up a win, and Emerson-Hubbard has to find a way to get the job done.

Good play from the Pirates against Winside and Madison.

Emerson-Hubbard (4-4) takes on Siouxland Community Christian, IA on the road Friday night.

I don't know a ton about the Eagles, but this figures to be a good and close contest.

The way and manner in which the Pirates have been winning lately should give them quite a bit of confidence in this one.

A couple girls recently joined the team so Emerson-Hubbard now has 8 girls out for the team.

That should and maybe already has improved depth and energy.

It should only make the Pirates that much more fresh and ready to go.

Emerson-Hubbard has to treat this game with Siouxland Community Christian the same they would any other game against a Nebraska team.

The Pirates shouldn't be overhyped or too psyched up just because they're playing a team from out of state.

It's exciting to play someone you never play though.

It's a unique opportunity for Emerson-Hubbard, and the Pirates need to come out and play a good game.

Emerson-Hubbard has to continue building upon the things they've already done and make them even better.

The Pirates appear to be on a good pace to do some damage this season before things are all said and done.

Emerson-Hubbard is getting better, and has to continue to find ways to improve constantly.

The Pirates have to continue to get the most out of themselves and each other.

Emerson-Hubbard has to keep maximizing their potential and playing up to their full capability.

I've been impressed with the Pirates this year.

In my opinion, they are doing well for only having 8 girls out for the team, and less girls out to start the season.

Emerson-Hubbard has to keep it up.
