Good bounce back win for the Cadets Thursday night.
West Point-Beemer (8-6) hosts Madison (7-10) in the first round of the East Husker Conference Tournament on Saturday.
The Dragons lost 85-39 at home to North Bend Central Tuesday night.
Madison is a streaky team that plays well in spurts.
I think the Cadets will win as long as they're on top of their game, but West Point-Beemer has to be wary of Madison going off offensively.
If the Dragons are on top of their game this could be a tough and close game for the Cadets.
West Point-Beemer has to be over the elation of winning Thursday night, and must be focused on and ready for Madison.
The winner gets BRLD in the Quarterfinals on Tuesday, and the Cadets know they can play with the Wolverines.
West Point-Beemer has to leave their mark on this conference tournament and do some big things.
The buzzer beating win should give the Cadets a good boost of momentum heading into this tournament.
The loss to the Raiders doesn't look bad either given the fact Logan View/Scribner-Snyder knocked off Howells-Dodge Thursday night.
West Point-Beemer needs to turn in another strong performance Saturday night and give BRLD all they can handle Tuesday night if that matchup happens.
The Cadets are hosting on Saturday, and West Point-Beemer has to take advantage of being at home.
The Cadets have to get it done on both ends of the floor.
West Point-Beemer has been really good defensively in the second half of the season, and needs to continue that on Saturday.
I think defense will be the key and difference in this one for the Cadets.
I feel like defense will either make or break West Point-Beemer on Saturday.
The offense needs to perform well too, especially at BRLD Tuesday night if the Cadets get that far.
Saturday's game will tip-off after the Oakland-Craig/Twin River game set to start at 6:00 p.m.
The West Point-Beemer Girls won 54-38 at Logan View/Scribner-Snyder on Saturday before drilling Wayne 58-30 on the road Thursday night.

Andrea Hoffman led the way with a game-high 25 points, including 7 three pointers, while Swanson notched 13 points and 8 rebounds. Kile added 8 points and 11 rebounds.
Very dominant win for West Point-Beemer Thursday night.
The Cadets (15-1) are off until Monday when they face either North Bend Central or Howells-Dodge in the first round of the East Husker Conference Tournament.
Regardless of who the play, West Point-Beemer has to be ready to go and wary of an upset.
Both teams have had nice second halfs of their seasons, and figure to be ready to give the Cadets their best shot and all they can handle.
West Point-Beemer has been very dominant for much of the season, and I fully expect the Cadets to come out and be on top of their game and play well.
There's no reason to think West Point-Beemer won't come out and light things up Monday night.
The Cadets will be hosting and that's a really big deal in my mind.
West Point-Beemer has to protect the home floor and come out and play well.
The Cadets have to take their opponent's best shot, and counter with blows of their own.
Swanson, Hoffman, Kile, and Weddle need to put up big offensive numbers like they did in one or both of the last two games.
West Point-Beemer has to come out guns a blazin' and fire on all cylinders Monday night.
This is the Cadets' chance to win big time, and come through in the clutch when it matters most.
I feel West Point-Beemer has as good a shot as anyone to win this tournament.
The other side of the bracket might be tougher overall, but the Cadets will still have their work cut out Monday night regardless of who they play.
I think West Point-Beemer has a tougher road to the finals overall than say Oakland-Craig.
The Cadets will have earned their spot in Columbus if they are to get there.
Lots of crazy things could happen in this tournament though so who knows who will be playing who after Friday night.
West Point-Beemer just has to do their job, and play up to their potential in each round.
There are some very good teams in this conference, and the Cadets are among the best.
West Point-Beemer will play the second game of the night on Monday. The first game will tip-off at 6:00 p.m.
