Really good game for Winnebago against the Blue Devils in particular.
Winnebago (6-5) takes on Ponca (10-2) on the road Tuesday night.
Ponca won 63-40 at Elk Point-Jefferson, SD on Friday.
Ponca is a great team, but if Winnebago plays the way they did against Wynot then they can definitely win.
Frenchman, Greyowl and Payer in particular had really nice games against Emerson-Hubbard.
Winnebago played outstanding defense against Wynot, and I think it's going to take that type of effort for Winnebago to beat Ponca as well.
Winnebago has to try and get into a track meet with Ponca and create turnovers and steals with their press.
Both teams play good defense so I think defense could ultimately decide this one.
I look for Winnebago to go into Ponca and play a good game and potentially pick up a win.
Winnebago has to go in there with confidence given the way they played against Wynot though.
Winnebago has to view this game as a big opportunity to do well and succeed.
Winnebago has to get off to a strong start and at least keep within striking distance throughout the game to be able to get Ponca at the end perhaps.
If Winnebago can keep things close throughout the game I think they have a chance to win it at the end.
Winnebago has to be relentless with their press and pressure, and must get physical with and match Ponca's physicality and hard nosed style of play.
Winnebago has to use their speed and athleticism to their advantage, and get out and run.
Winnebago has to play with a lot of drive, heart, pride, passion, toughness, determination, tenacity, grit, and fire.
Winnebago has to take the fight to Ponca for 4 quarters, and simply play Winnebago Basketball.
If Winnebago plays the way they did Friday night and just plays their game then they can definitely come away with a victory at Ponca.
The Winnebago Girls are also 2-1 in their last three games, winning 62-58 at Laurel-Concord-Coleridge last Friday night, and 63-22 at Emerson-Hubbard Tuesday night, before falling 47-35 at home to Wynot Friday night.
The Indians led the Bears 15-13 after one. Laurel-Concord-Coleridge won the 2nd quarter 19-14 to take a 32-29 lead into the locker room.

Both teams scored 23 points in the 4th quarter.
Keisha Snyder had 14 points while Madeline Cleveland notched 13. Natasha Deal had 9 points and 7 rebounds while Jayla Price totaled 9 points. Kae Earth added 8 points.
The Indians went up 25-4 after one on Emerson-Hubbard and won the 2nd quarter 10-6 to take a 35-10 lead into the locker room.
Winnebago outscored the Pirates 21-3 in the 3rd quarter to go up 56-13 at the end of three.
Emerson-Hubbard won the 4th quarter 9-7.
Snyder led the way with 18 points while Price notched 14 and Cleveland added 12.
The Blue Devils led 15-10 after one. The Indians won the 2nd quarter 10-7 to make it a 22-20 game at halftime in favor of Wynot.
The Blue Devils outscored Winnebago 14-2 in the 3rd quarter to lead 36-22 at the end of three.
The Indians won the 4th quarter 13-11.
Price finished with 12 points while Cleveland notched 11. Snyder chipped in 8.
Really good game for the Indians against the Pirates, and a solid performance against the Bears as well.
Winnebago (5-7) takes on Ponca (11-2) on the road Tuesday night.
Ponca won 43-37 at Elk Point-Jefferson, SD Friday night.
Ponca is a really good, legit, and great team this year, and figures to be tough to beat.
I think Winnebago is going to need an effort like they got against Emerson-Hubbard to be able to win this one.
Ponca is a team and a program to model yourselves after, and so I think this game can help Winnebago see what they can become in the future.
Ponca is always good, and I feel Winnebago can get up there and be at that same level too.
I feel Winnebago has made some strides this year, but still has work to do.
Winnebago has to go in there and play fearless and with aggression.
Winnebago has to show a lot of fight and might, and must play to win.
Winnebago can't play not to lose, they have to expect to win.
Winnebago has to take it to Ponca for four quarters, and give them everything they can handle and want and then some.
Winnebago has to put a scare into Ponca at the very least.
Winnebago needs a performance that's going to make them feel good and be a positive experience for them.
Winnebago has to come away from this game with a moral victory at the very least.
If Winnebago can keep this thing within a dozen points or less I think there will be positives to take away from the game.
The goal is to always win, but Winnebago has to find positives to take away from the game even if they come up short.
Snyder, Deal, Cleveland, and Price all need to play the way they did against Laurel-Concord-Coleridge, and Snyder, Cleveland, and Price the way they did against Emerson-Hubbard.
There's no reason why Winnebago can't play well and close the gap on Ponca, much like what I feel they did against Wynot.
