Great week of basketball for the Cadets. West Point-Beemer picked up three wins, including the big one over the Braves, so certainly can't complain about that.
The Cadets (7-5) were scheduled to host Twin River (7-8) Friday night, but the game was postponed due to the weather.
The Titans lost 51-40 at home to Wisner-Pilger Tuesday night.
I looked for West Point-Beemer to keep the ball rolling and play well once again Friday night.
The Cadets had all week to prepare for Twin River, and were probably ready to go.
West Point-Beemer was riding a lot of momentum too after the three wins last week.
The Cadets have won three in a row following two close losses to good teams so West Point-Beemer certainly appears to be rolling and clicking on all cylinders right now.
The Cadets had two games this weekend that probably would of definitely been wins.
West Point-Beemer is scheduled to play Logan View/Scribner-Snyder on the road Saturday, and the Raiders are definitely beatable.
Ben Vander Griend, Zach Vander Griend, Anderson, and Doggett have to keep stepping up and scoring the way they have.
From what I understand the Cadets were without Anderson on Thursday and Saturday due to an event he was attending somewhere so having him back should really help.
West Point-Beemer is playing their best basketball of the season right now, and I look for the Cadets to keep things rolling on Saturday.
This is prime time for West Point-Beemer to be playing well too with East Husker Conference Tournament and other games coming up next week.
The rest of the regular season sets up nicely for the Cadets to be successful, and I look for West Point-Beemer to keep playing good basketball.
Saturday's game is critical for East Husker Conference Tournament seeding.
The Cadets have to step up and play well and get the job done.
West Point-Beemer has to be confident in themselves too.
This team can do anything they want they just have to keep playing well and aim high and dream big and shoot for the stars.
The West Point-Beemer Girls bounced back from their first loss of the season, going 3-0 last week with a 46-43 win at home over Battle Creek last Tuesday night, 61-11 win over Schuyler last Thursday night, and a 64-33 triumph of Tekamah-Herman on the road Saturday.
The Cadets went up 10-8 on the Bravettes at the end of one before winning the 2nd quarter 11-10 to go up 21-18 at halftime.
West Point-Beemer won the 3rd quarter 13-11 to extend their lead to 34-29 at the end of three.

Sierra Kile had a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds while Sidney Swanson totaled 13 points. Brooke Haase added 8.

The Cadets quadrupled up the Tigers 12-3 in the 1st quarter, and outscored them 27-5 in the 2nd quarter to take a 39-8 lead into the locker room.
Tekamah-Herman won the 3rd quarter 15-14 to make it a 53-23 game at the end of three.
West Point-Beemer won the 4th quarter 11-10.
Kile paced the Cadets with 15 points while Brooklyn Weddle and Meiergerd were also in double figures with 12 and 11, respectively. Repschlaeger notched 8 while Swanson compiled 7.
Great response by West Point-Beemer to the loss to BRLD. The Cadets didn't dwell on the loss to the Wolverines and let it carry over into the next game.
West Point-Beemer (13-1) was to play host to Twin River (9-6) Friday night, but the game was postponed due to the weather.
The Titans won 33-29 at home over Wisner-Pilger Tuesday night.
The Titans played the Cadets close and tough last year in the East Husker Conference Tournament while West Point-Beemer handled Twin River in the regular season.
I looked for the Cadets to either blow out or have a close game with the Titans Friday night.
Twin River had two games under their belt this week before the two teams take to the floor, but I don't know if it really would have an advantage for the Titans having already played two games this week.
West Point-Beemer should of been well rested and ready to go without a doubt.
I thought the Cadets had a good chance to win big in that one.
West Point-Beemer is a great team, and the Cadets are having a very special season.
West Point-Beemer had two games this weekend they should of won and won big.
The Cadets needed to come out and not only win on Friday and Saturday, but dominate the Titans and Raiders of Logan View/Scribner-Snyder.
West Point-Beemer figures to be challenged next week with Pierce and Wayne so the Cadets needed to dominate this weekend and roll into those games with a lot of momentum.
West Point-Beemer has some big games coming up before season's end, and has to keep building upon the great things they've already done.
The Cadets needed to be sharp and on top of their game this weekend.
West Point-Beemer can't take any steps back and/or have any setbacks on Saturday or next week.
And I don't think they will, but the Cadets have to prepared and ready to play from the start all nights.
West Point-Beemer has to keep doing what they've been doing all season, which is winning.
The Cadets need to do it in impressive fashion in the next few games too.
These three games figure to help prepare West Point-Beemer for all the tough and difficult games that lie ahead.
