The Logan View/Scribner-Snyder Girls lost 57-34 at home to Arlington Thursday night before beating Boys Town 52-32 at home Thursday night, and losing 48-29 at home to Lyons-Decatur Northeast Friday night.

The Eagles jumped out to a 14-3 lead on the Raiders at the end of one. Arlington outscored Logan View/Scribner-Snyder 16-6 in the second quarter to take a 30-9 lead into the locker room.

The Raiders won the third quarter 12-7 to make it a 37-21 game at the end of three.

The Eagles put up 20 fourth quarter points compared to 13 for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder.

Kaylee Boyle led the way with 14 points while MacKenzy Screck totaled 12.

The Raiders led the Cowboys 12-11 after one. Logan View/Scribner-Snyder outscored Boys Town 20-2 in the second quarter to go up 32-13 at halftime.

The Raiders won the third quarter 10-8 to lead 42-21 at the end of three.

The Cowboys notched 11 fourth quarter points compared to 10 for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder.

Boyle had a team-high 21 points and 14 rebounds, good enough for a double-double. Schreck added 12 points while Paige Heinke recorded 7. Abby Kahlandt chipped in 7 rebounds.

The Cougars led the Raiders 7-3 after one. Lyons-Decatur Northeast won the second quarter 14-11 to take a 21-14 lead into the locker room.

The Cougars outscored Logan View/Scribner-Snyder 15-3 in the third quarter to lead 36-17 at the end of three.

Both teams scored 12 fourth quarter points.

Boyle finished with a team-high 9 points.

Head Coach Nick Hegge on the loss. "Consistency has been a struggle for us all year, especially on offense. We go through some pretty big droughts on offense where it seems like kids battle hard and you look up and it's six minutes into the third quarter and we've got two or three points on the board."

Hegge says his girls have lacked consistency in scoring. "That's been a struggle for us all year, but the kids really did play hard. And there wasn't a lot left in the tank, but they went at it hard and they should be proud."

The Raiders (4-18) take on Arlington (6-15) in the C1-6 Sub District play-in game at Oakland-Craig Monday night.

The Eagles defeated Logan View/Scribner-Snyder twice in the regular season.

However, in the Holiday Tournament game, the two teams were tied at halftime.

It's always tough for a team to beat a team three times in a season, and I think the Raiders will play their best game of the season.

On Friday, Hegge talked about his team wanting to play their best game Monday night. I certainly think Logan View/Scribner-Snyder has a chance to do just that.

I don't know if the Raiders' efforts will result in a win, but you can bet Logan View/Scribner-Snyder will give it their all on both ends of the floor.

The Raiders need to have a similar type game to the Boys Town game.

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder was very good offensively and defensively in that game.

The Raiders have to win the battle of the boards and take care of the ball. Logan View/Scribner-Snyder has to gain an edge any way possible.

Postseason games normally come down to doing the little things well. Hitting free throws, contesting shots, pressuring the ball, making smart passes, playing the passing lane, and being ready to shoot at all times are all things the Raiders need to do.

Monday night's game is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m. The winner gets West Point-Beemer at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
