The Pendragons have been up and down lately. Pender has been good at times, but not so good at others.
The Pendragons (12-10) take on Stanton (14-7) in a consolation game of the East Husker Conference Tournament Thursday night in North Bend.
The two teams met on December 19th with the Mustangs winning 49-46.
Just like that matchup, I feel this game can go either way and is either team's to win.
The team that wants to be there the most, hustles better, and plays harder, will most likely win the game.
This is a huge game for Pender because the Pendragons don't have anymore regular season games after this tournament.
This tournament is it for Pender before postseason play begins.
The Pendragons have to get back to their best form, and play at a high level Thursday night.
Both teams are coming off tough losses so both teams are in the same boat there.
This should be a high quality consolation game. I feel both teams are good, and understand the importance of this game.
We will find out how bad Pender wants it. It should be an intriguing game, just like the first meeting between these two teams.
Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m.
